A person in a red garment with gold border stands with bare feet on a wet stone, while another person's hands pour water from a brass pot over the feet. Pink lotus-like flowers are laid along the rock in front. Green foliage fills the background. The feet wear red cloth with gold border. Pink lotus flowers are scattered on the rock, with green foliage behind. This appears to be a foot-washing abhishekam or padapuja. Bare feet in the upper left rest on a golden surface, with the wearer's orange-saffron garment draped above them. In the foreground, a silver bowl holds a red-and-yellow apple, pink lotus flowers and a silver-cased conch shell, with other silver bowls of white flower petals and garnish beside them. Silver and gold trays surround the scene.2010-10-31 +2 copiesClose-up photo of a padapuja ritual: bare feet in orange-saffron cloth rest on a polished silver-and-gold tray, one foot placed among white flower petals and pink lotus blossoms. Silver bowls hold white flower petals, a small silver vessel and a red apple sit nearby, and an ornate silver plate lies at the lower right. A hand on the left reaches toward the offerings. Only the feet and hands of the people are visible, so no whole person can be seen. The feet appear to belong to a person in orange robes, but the figure is not shown fully, so identity is unsure.2010-10-31 +2 copiesNovember 20 20112011-11-20
