A photograph of a man in white and cream ritual dress standing before a gilded deity murti pair. He wears a long red-and-white garland, a heavy gold necklace, and a red tilak on his forehead, and raises one hand in a blessing gesture while smiling with eyes closed. Behind him are two large gold-coloured murtis, the left wearing an orange-red turban with a trident-shaped figure and rudraksha beads, the right wearing a tall crown and jewelled necklaces. Garlands in yellow, purple, red and green frame the scene, and a golden kalasha stands in front. Only one physical person is visible.2010-01-01January 01 20112011-01-01Photo of a shrine pavilion with orange curtains, carved stone pillars and a golden arch. Behind an altar draped with marigold and multicolour flower garlands stand two painted deity murtis, one crowned and one with a jewelled headdress, both adorned with flower strings. In front of the central Shivalinga-like murti sits a white-robed figure with a white turban and gold necklace. A standing person in a white dhoti and shawl, wearing a long gold necklace and with long swept-back hair, raises one hand in greeting at the left edge; the appearance is consistent with a person, but identity is uncertain. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-like vessel and brass utensils rest on the altar.2010-12-21December 22 20102010-12-22 +1 copiesA photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange-saffron robe, rudraksha and gold necklaces, and red-white-yellow flower garlands. He stands at the left with his palms pressed together in greeting. Behind him are two golden metal deity murtis with crowns, tridents and ornaments, draped in bright garlands of marigold and red flowers, with a golden kalasha-like shivalinga in front of them. The setting is an ornate stone temple with carved pillars, and a red-and-orange cloth hangs at the right edge. Two people appear in the scene: the greeting man and the costumed figure behind him is part of the deity imagery, so one physical person is shown.2012-01-01December 23 20102010-12-23December 23 20102010-12-23A man in saffron-orange robes stands at left on a maroon velvet backdrop, waving, with a multicolour flower garland around his neck and a large gold pendant necklace, plus a rudraksha-style beaded mala.
