Outdoors on bare dirt beside a palm-lined compound, a long-haired figure in a saffron-orange robe stands among grey stone pieces that look like carved stone slabs or sculptural parts laid on the ground. To the left, a man in white dhoti and white shirt holds a long wooden pole. A man in a striped shirt and white dhoti stands with a hand on his chest, and a man in a white shirt reaches toward the stone. Behind them a white van and other people in white are visible.2008-12-24December 24 20082008-12-24Outdoor photo of a grey stone deity murti, a multi-armed figure with a raised hand and a dark stone base carved with figures, set under a palm frond beside a rope-tied palm trunk. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and checked shirt bends low to touch the base of the murti, and another man in white is working at the figure's side. A young man in an orange-saffron cloth stands at the centre-left, one hand resting on the statue, while a man in a white dhoti and shirt crouches at lower left with his hands on the stone. Other workers in shirts and trousers push and steady the statue and its base, and an older man in a white shirt watches at right. Several dark granite slabs lie on the ground at right. The deity has a crown and a raised arm holding an object.January 14 20102010-01-14December 19 20062006-12-19December 19 20062006-12-19April 28 20152015-04-28Outdoors under a white tent, several men in orange and white clothes bend over grey stone sculptures of deities.
