Women in white and cream saris and children in white and orange sit at the front, while men in white kurtas sit further back. Hanging decorative banners in yellow, orange and patterned fabric hang from the ceiling, with colourful bunting strung across the hall. Yellow floor lines and a red carpet divide the seating area. Decorative fabric cylinders with geometric patterns and yellow tassels hang from the ceiling. Near the centre a single standing figure in white with an orange shawl stands by a camera tripod, and a red and gold decorated backdrop with a symbol appears at the right. The scene is a seated assembly, possibly a youth gathering. No identifiable a person candidate is clearly visible at this distance.2007-12-25A large seated crowd fills a tented hall at night, with many people in white clothes sitting on a bare floor facing a speaker standing at the right, wearing white and holding a microphone near a camera on a tripod. Colourful hanging fabric panels in yellow, blue and red decorate the tent ceiling, with strings of pennant bunting in pink, green and orange. Among the audience are children in red, yellow and orange, and several women wearing rudraksha malas. A man in an orange saffron garment sits in the front row, and a man in white stands at the far left near the seated crowd. The scene suggests a devotional gathering or discourse at a temple event.2007-12-24October 01 20072007-10-01A photograph of a large crowd seated on mats on the floor inside a long, plain white-walled hall with a corrugated metal roof. Rows of purple-and-white banners and orange pennants hang from the ceiling, and coloured paper streamers run along the walls. Many devotees sit close together: women in white and cream saris with orange shawls, girls in red, green, pink and orange dresses, and boys in white and green shirts. Some standing attendants in white clothes move at the back and sides of the hall. In the foreground a woman in a white sari with an orange shawl reads a sheet of paper, and a camera bag rests beside her.2007-12-24A seated congregation fills a large hall with a white tiled floor, white ceiling fans and hanging decorative cylinders in orange and patterned fabric.
