A photograph of a seated ceremony on a carpeted floor with a red mat. A woman in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits in the background, smiling broadly and gesturing with open hands toward the two people in front. A woman in white with an orange shawl sits cross-legged on the right, holding a green leaf and smiling. In the foreground a man in white clothes with an orange shawl bows low, reaching toward her feet, with banana leaves and folded banknotes on the floor between them. Behind them, other people in orange and white sit on the steps, and a table with flower garlands and a white cloth is at the left.2007-11-12A seated man in an orange-and-gold garment with a thick gold-toned beaded necklace and swept-back hair gestures with an open hand toward a shaven-headed man in white who kneels with palms joined in namaskar, an orange shawl draped over his shoulders. A woman in white with an orange shawl, rudraksha mala and a tilak sits nearby, looking on. Behind them other people in white and orange stand near a red curtain, a golden decorative frame and an electric fan. The scene looks like a satsang with a visiting devotee greeting the guru. Swamiji (probable) is the seated man in orange, identified by his orange-and-gold clothing, long swept-back hair and ornate gold necklace.2015-07-19Outdoor photograph under a open tent-like canopy of wooden poles. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes sits on a metal folding chair wearing a large white flower garland, smiling as devotees honour him. A woman in a white sari with orange border bows low with palms pressed together and her forehead near his hands, while a man in white dhoti and orange shawl kneels with folded hands. Another man kneels prostrate on the mat in front. Seated and standing devotees in white clothes surround them, a camera operator stands at left, and a plate of offerings with a brass lamp sits on the ground.2008-11-11A photograph of a seated ritual or darshan scene on a woven mat. A young boy in an orange tracksuit kneels at left, holding a small white item and bowing his head. Facing him, a man in white kurta and orange shawl sits with a tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha mala, holding a silver plate. In front, a woman in a red sleeveless top wears a white and multicoloured flower garland and reaches toward the plate. At right, another man in orange shawl smiles. Behind, a man in white holds up a camera, and a standing man in white clothes is partly visible at left. A metal vessel sits on the floor at right.2007-12-25Indoor photograph at dusk of a seated man in saffron-orange robe with gold trim, long dark hair and beard, bare feet, seated on an orange cushioned chair with a brass oil lamp or kalasha-like vessel beside him, one hand raised with a finger pointing. In front of him a kneeling devotee in white clothes and an orange shawl bends over a white cloth on the floor, handling a small green object. Behind, several people in white and orange shawls stand or kneel; one man in white with an orange shawl holds a camera. A seated man in white at lower right raises a finger. Visible ritual setting suggests puja or satsang. The seated man in orange shows distinctive long hair, saffron and gold robes, and a cushioned throne-like chair, a person candidate, though appearance is only partially clear.2006-12-27July 11 20122012-07-11Indoor scene of a padapuja at a devotee's home. A seated man in a red-orange turban, orange-red robe, white and red floral garland and multiple rudraksha malas sits on a chair with a smile while a woman in a white sari with jasmine in her hair and a man in white with vertical tilak kneel and wash his feet from a brass plate holding yellow fruits and lemons. Behind them, a shaved-headed young man in orange robes and a man in white with a gold-bordered dhoti stand near a ceiling fan, and a man in orange stands at left. A basket of red fruit sits at lower right and a patterned floor mat lies on the tiles. The seated figure fits a probable Swamiji appearance from the turban, garlanded robes and malas, and the role is a devotee's home padapuja.2014-07-01October 15 20082008-10-15August 11 20092009-08-11A seated figure in saffron-orange robes wears a white and green flower garland with a rudraksha mala and a red tilak on the forehead, eyes closed, one hand raised in blessing. Behind him, several men in white dhotis and orange shawls kneel or stand; one holds a tall gilded staff. Before the seated figure are white stone slabs with flower petals, brass vessels, a bowl, incense sticks and green cloth bundles. Four to five physical people are visible.2007-12-25June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesJuly 13 20092009-07-13
