November 25 20122012-11-25A four-panel collage of an annadhan food distribution under a red-brown canopy strung with coloured bunting. Top left, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers stirs a large steel cooking vessel while others in white and red attire stand nearby. Top right, several men in white shirts and pink or red shirts serve food from big pots into plates. Bottom left, women in red and pink saris sit on mats eating from plates, and a woman in a red sari serves food to seated children. Bottom right, rows of seated people in pink, teal and white clothing eat from leaf-lined plates under the long canopy. The collage shows the activity of food service; the people in the panels are physical people, counted together here as more than twenty.2012-01-01 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20122012-01-03 +1 copiesA four-panel collage of an outdoor annadhan (free food distribution) event at night. Top-left: a large tented hall under a red-and-white canopy with strings of lights, where people in white and light clothing move between serving tables. Top-right: men in pink and white shirts ladle food from large steel pots into plates held by people in a line. Bottom-left: women in red and orange saris and children sit on the ground under a red tent, eating from plates of rice and curry. Bottom-right: a wide night view of a crowd in white clothes queuing beside bamboo barricades under bright floodlights. The collage shows food service, not a single scene; the people shown are the pictured participants.2012-01-01 +1 copiesA six-panel collage of a rural Indian food distribution, Annadhan, with villagers queuing outdoors and inside a small temple courtyard. Women in blue, pink and green saris and men in white shirts and dhotis hold steel plates and bowls while large steel cooking pots stand on the ground. Children crowd forward in the lower panels, and a blue tractor trailer sits near palm trees in one scene. A temple gopuram with painted colourful deity figures appears in several panels. Multiple scenes are pictured, so this is a composite graphic rather than a single photograph.2012-01-01 +2 copiesA four-panel collage of annadhan food-service scenes, with photographs in each panel. Top left: a man in a white shirt and checked lungi bends over a large steel pot of yellow food. Top right: women in white head coverings and aprons ladle food from a large tray, one wearing an orange sari. Bottom left: an open-air pavilion with many steel cooking vessels and pots set out on tables, and several people in white and orange clothing working among them. Bottom right: a room with stacked green banana leaves, plastic sacks of supplies, and a person in red clothing bending over a table. No a person candidate is visible in the panels.2012-01-01 +2 copiesAnnadhan in 20122012-01-01 +3 copiesAnnadhan in 20112011-01-01 +2 copiesJanuary 06 20122012-01-06 +1 copiesJanuary 05 20122012-01-05 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20062006-01-01 +2 copiesMay 19 20192019-05-19
