Outdoor procession walking along a red carpet between a red-brick wall and green foliage. A central figure in a dark brown robe with a maroon-red turban and heavy gold necklaces and a long pale garland walks barefoot; the figure is shown in a dark brown robe and is a candidate for Swamiji by appearance, with a turban, ornate gold necklaces and a garland, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in a ceremonial procession. Behind him, a multicoloured fringed canopy is carried on a gold-topped pole. Attendants wear saffron-orange robes and white dhotis, one holding a drum, another in a saffron sari holding a flower-filled brass tray. Several people wear rudraksha malas and beads.2018-01-14January 14 20182018-01-14June 07 20162016-06-07A photograph of a procession walking along a red carpet under a covered walkway in an outdoor courtyard. In the centre, a bare-chested man with a red and gold turban, a long gold-beaded garland and a dark red-brown dhoti walks barefoot. Beside him, a figure in orange robes carries a small offering tray decorated with flowers and greenery. Behind them, people in orange robes and a white-clad attendant follow, one holding a drum or ritual item. A colourful decorated banner hangs at left and a canopy with tassels stands at right against a red wall. The man in the turban shows distinctive adornments and ceremonial garlands, but his face and identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2018-01-14June 07 20162016-06-07A procession on a paved courtyard with a red carpet runner. At the centre, a man in a red-maroon dhoti and matching shawl wears a long red flower garland and a wooden bead necklace, walking forward and smiling. A child in a red-maroon garment with an ornate gold headdress and silver necklaces walks at the right of the carpet. Attendants in orange and saffron robes carry a large orange parasol at left and ornate decorated umbrellas behind, while a man on the far right carries a brass pot with yellow-orange flower garlands. Robed attendants in white and saffron stand around the scene in front of a shrine canopy.2013-08-20January 14 20182018-01-14Outdoor procession on a grey stone courtyard with a red carpet runner. At the centre, a man with long dark hair, a tripundra forehead mark, a large gold necklace and a rust-red robe walks barefoot. A younger man in a white dhoti and rudraksha mala holds a small red umbrella beside him. Behind them, a man in a white dhoti raises a long-handled parasol, and a group of attendants in saffron and orange cloth follow, one carrying a decorated ceremonial item. Drummers in white and orange stand to the left. Palm trees form the background. Swamiji (probable): the central figure has long swept-back hair, a large gold ceremonial necklace and a rust-red robe, cues consistent with the page's identification of Swamiji leading the procession.2016-08-02Outdoor procession on a stone courtyard along a red carpet. In the centre, a man in a deep red-maroon dhoti and matching shawl with a large red and white floral garland walks forward, and a smaller child in red-maroon clothing with a gold crown and layered silver-and-white necklaces walks beside him. Behind them, robed attendants in saffron and orange garments carry a tall orange parasol with fringe and a tasselled fan-like staff. A figure in white dhoti holds the parasol pole, and a bald man at right in maroon cloth and rudraksha beads carries a silver tray of flowers and fruit. A small shrine with a deity murti and colourful flags stands in the background among palm trees, and people in orange and white continue the procession.2013-08-20March 11 20172017-03-11
