A large group of young women and girls in matching saffron-orange sarees with gold borders stand in a row, hands pressed together in anjali mudra. Many wear white vertical tilaka or forehead markings, rudraksha malas, gold necklaces, jhumka earrings and gold bangles. Some have hair left loose or plaited with flowers. Behind them a man in white dhoti and shirt stands with hands folded at the left edge, and a covered open pavilion with red-and-white pillars and a striped mat lies in the foreground. The scene suggests a devotional gathering or ritual participation at an ashram-style hall.2017-08-25September 02 20172017-09-02September 09 20162016-09-09September 21 20162016-09-21July 24 20132013-07-24September 21 20162016-09-21A photograph of a crowd of saffron-robed devotees gathered on a paved courtyard outdoors, with trees, brick buildings and a red pillar behind them.
