A woman in an orange sari with a red bindi and dark hair pulled back stands bowed on a narrow staircase, wearing a long garland of pink and red flowers, white jasmine and green leaves, with a rudraksha mala and a yellow bead strand around her neck. She holds her hands together at her chest. Several saffron-robed monks with shaved heads follow up the stairs behind her, some with rudraksha malas. The walls are pale blue and a copper-coloured pipe runs along the left side.2013-06-23June 23 20142014-06-23June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesApril 24 20132013-04-24January 01 20122012-01-01October 15 20172017-10-15A man in a rust-red sleeveless robe with an orange shawl stands on a walkway beside a metal handrail. He wears a long orange-and-gold beaded garland, a white forehead band with a red dot, and gold hoop earrings, with long dark hair swept back. He walks forward at the centre of a small procession. To his left, a man in an orange wrap holds a tray of flowers and a brass plate, and a second man in a white dhoti with a gold border stands behind. Further back, a bald man in a saffron garment wears glasses. The background is dark with a red drum partly visible at the right edge.2016-02-07April 24 20132013-04-24A procession of saffron-robed sannyasis walks through a red-and-white painted temple passage. In the foreground a man with long swept-back dark hair, a red-and-gold shawl over a rust-coloured robe, wears a thick garland of red and gold flowers and a gold necklace, with a red bindi and bangles, looking downward as he walks. Behind him white-clad priests with white sacred threads and bare-chested devotees with white forehead markings follow, one carrying a silver trident and another a white parasol-like ceremonial item. Several women in saffron saris stand behind the wrought-iron gate, and a cameraman in purple stands on the stairs. Possibly a temple procession.2013-04-24
