A man with long swept-back dark hair and a long rudraksha-style mala stands at left in a rust-orange dhoti and matching upper cloth with gold-bordered edges and gold armbands, smiling as he holds a silver lamp or small pot over a golden shivalinga draped with red and white flower garlands. Behind him, two golden deity murtis sit on a raised dais: the figure at center wears an orange turban and heavy gold necklaces, while the figure at right wears a gold crown, rich gold jewellery and a yellow skirt, holding a golden trident-like staff. The backdrop is a curved arch of red, yellow, purple and white marigold and rose garlands, with a green fabric canopy above. Gold ceremonial implements stand at right, and a stone pillar frames the left edge.2013-04-14A devotee in a rust-brown robe with a gold-bordered dhoti and a shawl over the shoulder stands at left, reaching toward a gold shivalinga with flowers and a rudraksha-style mala placed before it. Behind them two gold-faced deity murtis are seated on a decorated throne, one wearing an orange turban and gold jewellery, the other in a crown with red and maroon silk. The murtis are framed by an arch of red, yellow, purple and white garlands, with a gold kalasha-like ornament and lamps at the right edge. The scene suggests a temple abhishekam or puja setting.2013-04-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple worship scene. A man with long hair, wearing a rust-brown shawl and brown dhoti with a gold border, stands at left smiling and reaches toward a gilded kalasha-shaped vessel and a golden lingam-like object wrapped in red and white flower garlands. Behind them sits a pair of gold-coloured deity murti, one wearing an orange turban and crown, the other a tall ornate crown, both adorned with necklaces and flower garlands. The arch behind is densely decorated with red, orange, yellow, purple and white flowers. A brass oil lamp stands at left, and a ceremonial staff with a gold finial appears at right. The man's brown clothing and the arrangement suggest a puja or abhishekam, though his identity cannot be determined from appearance.2013-04-14Photo 11738313 +2 copiesJanuary 1st 2013July 19 20162016-07-19A long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe with a multi-coloured flower garland stands at left, holding a brass oil lamp with a lit flame over an ornate shrine.
