Many devotees sit cross-legged on the floor, most wearing white with orange shawls, while a few stand. Many rows of devotees sit on the floor facing a raised red stage at left, where a performer in white stands. Most seated women wear saffron-orange saris and some wear white or cream saris; a few wear pastel or purple garments. Several devotees have long braided hair and some wear flowers. At right, a golden deity murti sits on an elaborate golden throne-like dais beside another ornate figure, and a large screen shows an image. Cameramen with tripods film from the front and right. Red drapes, a pink-lit ceiling and gold carved panels frame the hall.2017-09-21 +1 copiesJuly 08 20152015-07-08April 01 20132013-04-01December 18 20122012-12-18A large seated audience fills a multi-level atrium with pale stone floors, tall grey pillars, a curved balcony and warm red-orange walls. Many people sit cross-legged on the floor wearing white kurta-style clothes and orange-saffron shawls, with a man in a turquoise turban in the front row and a woman in white on the left. Others sit along the upper balcony railing. Water bottles and bags lie on the floor. No speaker or throne is clearly visible in the frame, and no individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance.2012-12-20A wide photograph of a large seated congregation filling a hotel-style hall with dark patterned carpet and warm recessed lighting. Most attendees wear saffron and orange robes, with some in white, pink and grey; many men have white beards and several wear orange or white head cloths. Women in orange shawls and white outfits sit at the left, one holding a red book. Near the front, a figure in a saffron robe sits with a mala-like presence not clearly distinguishable, and no speaker is clearly identifiable from appearance alone. The scene is a satsang gathering with audience seated on the floor.2014-03-22Wide overhead view of a large atrium on a cruise ship with multiple tiers and balconies, lined with potted plants and a painted mural. A large crowd of devotees sits cross-legged on a checkered floor, many in white clothes with orange shawls draped over their shoulders, with bags and mats placed in front of them. Pink curtains frame a central stage area where a few figures in white and orange stand and sit around a platform with a small altar and a kalasha. Pillars rise through the scene and people on upper balconies look down on the satsang gathering.2012-12-10December 22 20122012-12-22December 09 20122012-12-09Elevated view of a large indoor hall during a ritual gathering, with a crowd of many seated and standing participants in white clothing with red sashes. At the centre, a raised circular platform holds a deity murti or image in a red-backed niche framed by silver-foil backdrop and green foliage. In front, a brass puja setup with offering plates of fruit and flowers, lit oil lamps and kalasha-style vessels is attended by people in white. Participants sit on mats and cushions, and a few people in orange or saffron-toned clothing move near the altar. A puja or padapuja appears to be underway. Curtains, hanging vines and a painted ceiling frame the hall. The crowd is large, so the count is a broad range.2012-12-25July 11 20152015-07-11 +2 copies
