A barefoot man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl with gold-bordered edges walks along a pale marble corridor, smiling and raising one hand to his head. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace, a beaded headband, a white forehead marking with a red tilak, and gold earrings. Behind him, a man in a white dhoti and shawl with gold borders wears a rudraksha mala and carries a bag. A wooden door with red panels and a sunlit window are visible in the background.2012-05-11May 11 20122012-05-11March 04 20132013-03-04 +1 copiesMay 13 20122012-05-13 +1 copiesMarch 05 20132013-03-05A man in a rust-orange sannyasi-style wrap with gold border and a gold-bead necklace walks toward the viewer across a paved courtyard, with a white-clad attendant behind him carrying a tray. The man has a white horizontal tilak and a red dot on his forehead. A red woven mat lies in the foreground beside a brick wall and trees. The man's appearance shows several cues such as the saffron-orange robe, ornate gold necklace and forehead markings, but identity remains uncertain from appearance alone, so he is described by role as a sannyasi-clad man and the white-clad attendant is a priest or assistant. He wears a gold beaded headband, a red bindi and a sandalwood-marked forehead, and gold bangles on his wrists and upper arm. He raises one hand in greeting while stepping out of a doorway framed in polished stone with a white carved arch and warm lamp lights behind. Behind him, a shaved-headed attendant in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with white forehead markings and a rudraksha-style necklace, looks down while holding a small object. The scene reads as a temple welcome at the threshold.2012-04-29
