A shaved-headed man in white with a blue ribbon badge sits near the centre, and an orange-robed monk sits on a red chair behind the group. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis sit on chairs at the upper right, one wearing a rudraksha mala. Around the seat are fruit, a flower garland, books and sandals. Women in white sarees with gold borders and braided hair sit on the floor in the foreground.2009-02-01January 25 20092009-01-25November 25 20092009-11-25February 01 2009 Kalpataru Convention at Coimbatore City2009-02-01February 01 2009 Kalpataru Convention at Coimbatore City2009-02-01A hall filled with devotees in white clothes and orange scarves, with many standing and seated people in the background. On the right, a person with long, swept-back dark hair and an orange robe with gold necklaces sits on an orange-upholstered seat, smiling and raising a hand in greeting. A visible person with long dark hair wearing orange clothing with gold necklaces is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues. In front, a woman in a white sari with a pink border and a man in white holding rolled papers stand close, with a seated devotee in the foreground. Orange cloth draped over the floor and a tray with items sit near the seat, and white curtains hang on the back wall.2010-07-24March 25 20082008-03-25A discourse session in a plain white-walled hall. A figure in orange robes with a long beaded necklace sits cross-legged on a white-draped raised seat at the left, speaking into a microphone on a stand. Rows of seated men in white shirts and white dhotis sit on red plastic chairs facing him, and a woman in white sits near a closed white door at centre back. The appearance-based label for the orange-robed speaker is probable Swamiji: long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a long beaded necklace, seated on a white throne-like seat with a mat. A ceiling fan and a small electrical panel are visible on the walls.2009-08-16A seated teacher in a long dark-haired style and reddish-brown wrap speaks from a wooden armchair with a brown leather seat, holding a small stick or wand in one hand, while a large seated audience in white and orange clothing listens on the floor. Many women wear white saris with gold borders, some with orange shawls and rudraksha malas, and a few men in orange and white sit in front. A red thermos and orange-draped table stand beside the chair. The teacher appears to be a person from the appearance cues of long swept-back hair, reddish-brown wrap and ceremonial seated position, but the identity is uncertain. Framed photographs hang on the wall behind.2015-07-28
