The ground is bare red-brown earth with circular raised stone platforms around the trunk. A woman in a orange-and-gold sari stands near the center. Several people in white ritual clothes and white dhotis work at the base of the tree, one man in a white shirt carrying a camera, and a woman in a white sari kneels beside a small tool. Facing him is a bald, white-bearded man in a white dhoti and white shawl with a striped border. To the right, a woman in a dark red sari and two other people in white clothing listen, and a camera operator with a video camera on a tripod is filming. Green foliage and sunlight fill the background.
