A large crowd of devotees, mostly women in colourful saris and men in white dhotis and shirts, sits and stands under a open-sided hall with white walls and a corrugated roof. Tall decorated pillars wrapped in patterned cloth and draped with bunting line the space, and a red and gold altar area with flowers appears at the far end. Many women wear garlands, kumkum and gold necklaces; several hold flower garlands or wear marigold garlands and small rosette badges. The gathering appears to be a ceremonial programme in a hall, with attendees looking toward the front.

A large crowd of devotees seated and standing in a hall during a Shivaratri gathering, with palms pressed together in prayer. Many women wear white and cream saris, some with vibhuti or kumkum on their foreheads and rudraksha malas. A woman in a pale yellow and pink striped sari stands at right with hands folded, and an older woman in a cream shawl and glasses stands centre-left. A seated man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala sits in the front row. A tall decorated pillar with red, yellow and orange panels and floral motifs rises behind them, and a blue-and-white plastic chair and water bottles are visible at right. No clearly identifiable a person is present in the frame.

A crowded indoor hall under a corrugated metal roof, decorated with tall striped pillars topped with dove emblems and a decorated canopy at the right. Seated devotees in the foreground include women in colourful saris (teal, magenta, orange, maroon) with flowers in their hair and gold necklaces, and men in white dhotis and shirts, some with sandalwood or vibhuti forehead marks and rudraksha malas. Standing men in white along the back wall watch the ceremony, and a small boy in a red shirt stands at the right. A floral-decorated shrine or altar is visible through the far opening.

A photograph of a Hindu wedding ceremony under a corrugated roof at an outdoor pavilion with decorated pillars in red, blue and yellow geometric patterns. A bride in an orange sari and a groom in a white shirt stand before a fire pit (homa) with flames, while a robed sannyasi in orange, seen from behind, tends the offerings. Seated figures in white garments and marigold and flower garlands sit on white chairs before a turquoise cloth laden with fruit, flower-strewn plates, brass lamps and offering bowls. Onlookers in saris and shirts stand behind, and a videographer with a camera films at right. The participants wear garlands and flowers, and rose petals scatter the ground.

A seated congregation fills a bare white-walled hall with a grey door on the right, sitting on striped red and green mats. A woman on the far left wears an orange-saffron sari and stands near a red-shirted man. Two decorative cloth banners with white bird motifs, red flowers and orange hems hang on the wall. A woman in white sari and a standing man in light blue shirt hold a brass tray with offerings, while people in white shirts and dhotis sit in rows. Several older men and a young boy in white kurta sit in the foreground. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible.

A wedding ceremony under a corrugated roof in a plain hall with painted pillars decorated with red, green and yellow flower motifs. A bride in an orange and gold sari with red blouse and jewelled bangles walks beside a groom in white shirt and dhoti with a white and red flower garland and rudraksha-style beaded necklace. Behind them, a seated man in white with a garland and a seated woman in red sit near a table with fruit, flower-decorated plates and brass vessels. Women in colourful saris and children stand watching, and rose petals are scattered on the floor.

Indoor scene in a home with a seated crowd of devotees, mostly women in saffron, purple, green and white saris, with hands pressed in anjali, while men in white shirts and dhotis stand or kneel at the front. A man in a white shirt and dhoti bends over a brass plate of flowers and offerings on the floor, and a woman with jasmine garlands in her hair kneels beside him. Decorative gold-yellow garlands hang on the grilled doors behind, and a framed picture hangs on the wall. No identifiable a person is visible in this frame, so the figure is not attributed.

Outdoor ceremony under a corrugated roof with decorated pillars in red, yellow and blue with bird motifs. A bald shaved-headed man in white dhoti and an orange shawl stands at left holding a tray of flowers. A central figure in orange robes with a long swept-back hair, a flower garland and a ceremonial clothing presentation extends his hand toward a couple; the distinctive long hair and orange robes make this a probable Swamiji appearance, conducting the ritual. A bride in red and orange silk with a flower garland stands at right, and a groom in white kneels on the ground with flower petals before them. Other attendees in white and red shirts watch, and a bearded man in white dhoti stands near the centre with a garland. Scattered petals lie on the floor.
