A woman in an orange sari with long dark hair in a side plait stands with palms pressed together in namaskar before a seated statue on a golden throne. The seated figure wears a maroon garment, a dark embellished bodice with beadwork, and a dark turban-like headwrap, with a raised right hand in blessing. Its neck is garlanded with white and multicoloured flower malas. Two golden umbrellas with red fabric, floral embroidery and a bird emblem stand beside the throne, with a gold oil lamp to the right and a small garlanded deity murti below. A backdrop shows a temple-hill landscape and a garlanded deity image.2022-02-16A photograph of a puja before a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back, draped in a red-brown robe with rudraksha-style beaded adornments and wearing a red-brown headwrap, garlanded with white and multicoloured flower malas. A woman in a rust-red sari sits cross-legged on the left, ringing a brass bell and holding a flame, with a small lit oil lamp and brass lamps nearby. A devotee in rust-red clothing on the right stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Offerings sit on a banana leaf with bowls and a small figure in front of the throne. Golden umbrella-like canopies with floral embroidery flank the throne, and a painted backdrop shows a hillside temple. The figure on the throne appears to be a person by appearance, with saffron-toned robes, rudraksha beads and a crown-like headwrap, though this is uncertain.2022-02-16March 03 20222022-03-03December 11 20082008-12-11A figure in an orange saffron robe sits on a richly carved gold throne with red tiger-striped cushions, hands pressed together in namaskar with head bowed. Golden lion figures flank the throne, and a gold umbrella canopy hangs above. The throne back is decorated with floral garlands in red, yellow and green, and pink lotus flowers are placed around the base. The setting is a plain pale background. The person's appearance is not clearly established, so identity remains uncertain.2008-10-12December 11 20082008-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 11 20082008-12-11A seated figure in a red-orange garment sits on an ornate gold throne with a golden canopy and decorative back panel, hands pressed together in a namaskar gesture. Tall gold oil lamps with multiple flames stand on either side of the stage, and rows of small oil lamps line the front edge of the platform, glowing against a dark curtained backdrop. The setting resembles a lamp-lit festival stage during Karthikai Deepam. A faint blue bird logo appears at the upper left. The figure's appearance does not clearly establish an identity, so no candidate is named.2008-12-11April 29 20222022-04-29December 11 20082008-12-11 +1 copiesA woman in an orange saree stands at left with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes closed, facing a shrine. Behind her a seated statue on a red-cushioned golden throne wears layered beaded necklaces and a red garment, flanked by golden trident standards and tall decorated parasols with red and yellow fringe. A mural of a temple-topped hill forms the backdrop. On a purple cloth in front stand two brass oil lamps, yellow marigold garlands, a framed photo of a deity, a framed black-and-white portrait, a brass plate with flowers, and a small figurine. Only the one woman is a physical person; the statue and framed images are depictions.2022-03-13April 29 20222022-04-29
