A photograph of a bald man in white dhoti with gold border and a gold-chain necklace, seated with hands raised and eyes closed, receiving a touch on the forehead from a long-haired man with dreadlocks wearing a red-orange shawl over a red sleeveless garment. Behind them, two men in white dhotis with gold borders stand, and a wooden doorway and red curtain are visible in the background. Gold ornamental pillar at right. On the left, a dark-haired man with a swept-back hairstyle wears a rust-red wrap and a long beaded rudraksha-style mala, and stands beside a gold-trimmed structure with an orange fringed canopy; his right hand rests on the forehead of a shaved-headed man in a white kurta and red shawl who holds his palms joined in respectful greeting. Behind them, several seated devotees in red and white clothing are blurred in the background, and a few white drapes hang at the edges. The scene suggests a padapuja-style blessing; the left figure is an appearance-based a person shown in an in-person ritual setting.2013-12-20A photograph of a long-haired man in a saffron-and-gold wrap with a rudraksha mala touching the forehead of a bald man in white clothes and an orange shawl, both smiling with raised hands. Behind them, several people in white and orange sit on a red mat before red drapes and an ornate golden deity murti, with a bundle of sticks held near the frame.
