A photograph inside a small whitewashed room with a brown wooden door and barred windows. At center, a deity murti or lingam-type form is draped with garlands of red, white and yellow flowers and sits on an orange-draped pedestal. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style pot, a plate of fruit and small brass vessels are arranged on a cloth before it. On the left, a bald man in orange clothing with a bead mala stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. On the right, a man with long dark hair tied up, wearing an orange shawl with white border and a rudraksha mala, extends one hand toward the shrine in an offering gesture. Behind him, a man in white dhoti and shawl stands near the wall, and another man in white is partly visible at the right edge.

In the centre, a man in an orange turban, orange-saffron robe and a long garland of yellow and red flowers, with a rudraksha mala on his wrist, stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Beside him on the left, a shaved-headed man in orange clothing with a rudraksha mala watches. A man in a blue shawl and white dhoti with a red vibhuti mark on his forehead gestures toward a younger man in a white dhoti and white shawl with red-and-gold border, who holds a brass kalasha topped with a coconut and mango leaves. A framed picture of a deity hangs on the wall, and oil lamps, flower garlands and fruit sit on a decorated table at right.

Photograph of a small whitewashed room with a plain grey floor and a wooden door. Two men in saffron-orange robes stand with palms pressed together in prayer before a garlanded deity murti draped in orange cloth, decorated with red, yellow and white flower garlands. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style vessel, bowls, a plate of fruit and other puja items sit on a mat in front. The man on the left, shaved-headed and in orange, faces the murti from behind; the figure in the centre wears orange garments and a rudraksha mala with hair tied up. A third man at right wears white dhoti-style clothing and a rudraksha mala, standing by the wall. The scene shows a puja or padapuja at a small shrine.

A photograph of a puja inside a room with pale blue walls, centred on a white altar draped with marigold and yellow flower garlands. Seated on the altar is a white statue of a sage wearing an orange cloth, orange turban and rudraksha mala, with a garland around its neck. In front of it stands a golden oil lamp on the left, and a small figure with a garland and a brass plate of offerings sits on the altar base. Four people face the altar: at left a man in white clothes with a dark mala and a small cup in hand; a bald man in a white dhoti with an embroidered shawl and folded hands; a person in an orange turban and orange robe holding a brass plate of offerings; and at right two people in orange robes, one with long hair. Marigold garlands hang from the ceiling above.

Several people in saffron-orange robes, one with a white forehead marking, stand at the left near the shrine, while a man in a striped shirt and a man in a brown shirt face the seat. Women in cream and light-coloured saris and a young boy in white stand at the right, and petals cover the floor. One central figure seated near the throne wears an orange garment and smiles.
