He wears layered rudraksha malas and a heavy gold bead necklace, with a sandalwood-and-kumkum mark on his forehead, and a small lapel microphone is clipped to his robe. Behind him a large backdrop shows a portrait of a smiling figure in a red turban and saffron garments with rudraksha beads, beside decorative red floral motifs. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long dark hair tied back, a gold-bead necklace and saffron robes, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference. A portrait label on the backdrop is not legible as a caption.2014-01-14 +1 copiesAugust 18 20132013-08-18 +1 copiesJanuary 05 20142014-01-05A seated figure in a deep orange-red turban and matching saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne with a carved golden back and red zebra-striped cushions. A tiger-striped cloth drapes the seat, and a heavy beaded necklace with a gold pendant hangs on the chest. Red velvet curtains form the backdrop. The person is seated on a throne as a central honoured figure, but appearance cues alone are insufficient to confirm identity, so the role is described without identification.2015-09-09January 16 20142014-01-16January 11 20142014-01-11
