Night view of a small temple shrine with a blue-and-orange facade, dark stone pillars and a decorative frieze of painted figures along the wall. A wide roof is topped with painted deity figures and a bull statue beneath leafy tree branches. Metal railings enclose the front, with cloth hanging on them, and a small separate shrine stands to the right. The courtyard is wet and empty of people.

Photograph of a temple entrance with a blue-grey painted facade, decorated with a red, green and gold frieze bearing a white Vaishnava urdhva pundra motif and floral designs. Painted lotus-like emblems flank the doorway, and a dark plaque hangs on the left wall. Through the open doorway, a green-backed inner sanctum shows a deity murti in dress with garlands, and a standing figure in white. Two seated people in white and a shawl sit on the floor at the left, and partially visible people sit at the bottom right near a metal pot.

A night-time photograph inside a temple hall with turquoise and gold painted pillars carved with scrolling floral and foliate motifs. A tiered gopuram-style shrine structure rises in the centre among gilded pillars, and a colourful concentric circular ceiling medallion hangs above. On the right stands a tall copper lamp stand (deepa stambha) beside a stairway. In the lower left, a young man in a white dhoti with an orange-saffron shawl and a young woman in white stand near the foreground, and a few other figures are partially visible. A shrine or pavilion with white pillars is visible outside an iron gate at left. The scene suggests a temple precinct after dark.

A night scene at a small shrine beside a stone wall under a large spreading tree. A caged niche holds a framed picture of a deity and a small figure stands on a pink lotus base in front of it. A colourfully painted guardian statue in yellow and red holds a stick. A group of people walks past in a line on the paved ground. Two men in saffron robes lead, one holding a garland and some wearing white or cream shirts and dhotis. A woman in a yellow sari and another in a white sari walk near the group. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers faces the shrine with hands folded, and a man at the right holds a bouquet of pink flowers.

A photograph inside a dimly lit temple shrine. A standing priest with his back to the camera wears a white dhoti and a yellow shawl draped over his shoulder, facing a gilded shrine with a decorated deity murti in red-and-gold arch, flanked by brass lamps and a tall ornamental stand. Several seated devotees in the foreground, including women in saffron, pink and light blue saris and a girl with a long braid, face the shrine. A brass kalasha-style vessel and a plate of fruit sit near the altar, and a small yellow lectern stands in front of the shrine. The room has white pillars and a ceiling fan.

A small Hindu temple gateway with a blue-and-yellow painted facade and a colourful sculpted tower above it, filled with painted deity figures and celestial figures. Steps lead up to an open doorway with a green-painted inner shrine and a brass lamp stand standing before the entrance. A tall palm tree and a leafy tree frame the structure beside a cream boundary wall. No people are visible.

Night photograph of a colourful South Indian Hindu temple gopuram, its tower covered with painted sculptural figures of deities and mythic scenes in red, green, blue and yellow. A tall white stone pillar stands at the left, with a small golden-doored shrine entrance below. Red lattice screens and framed deity niches flank the entrance, and potted plants stand in front. A single man in white clothing stands at the far left edge of the frame.
