A photograph of a man in an orange garment with a gold-bordered shawl draped over one shoulder, wearing a long ornate gold bead necklace. He stands at a stone ledge beside a water basin, his right hand raised to his forehead in a salute-like gesture, long dark hair swept back. Behind him are a red curtain, a carved grey stone pillar and a framed painting of a deity on an orange wall. Visible forehead marking. Probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, ornate gold bead necklace), shown in person as a devotee-style gesture at a temple-like setting.2011-09-15A photograph of a man standing outdoors beside a brass oil lamp on a low stone ledge. He has long dark hair swept back, a white vertical forehead mark with a red dot, a gold arm band with a serpent motif, and a heavy gold bead necklace over a rust-orange shawl. A second man in white dhoti and shawl stands blurred to the right, and a framed devotional picture hangs on the red wall behind. The main figure has distinctive long hair, ornate gold adornments and orange clothing, so he is an appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) candidate, physically present.2013-03-03May 26 20132013-05-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple courtyard scene. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi stands at right in a lavender-purple garment with a gold-bordered edge, wearing layered heavy gold necklaces and gold armlets, one hand raised to his forehead and a slight smile. Beside him a golden lamp stand (deepam) rises in front of a small stone shrine with carved relief, and in the foreground a seated white figure in a purple cloth and purple headpiece with hands joined is visible. A framed painted portrait of a seated white-robed figure hangs on the orange wall, and brass oil lamps sit on a low ledge near a shallow water basin. Wall walls are orange and white.2011-12-06A standing man in an orange and gold-bordered silk garment stands beside a stone-edged altar at an indoor ashram-style setting. He wears a red bindi, long swept-back dark hair, a tiered rudraksha mala across the chest, and rudraksha bracelets on his wrists and upper arm. Beside him, a tall brass oil lamp, brass kalasha-style vessels and a small white seated deity murti stand on the altar. Behind him are a red wall and a whiteboard covered in handwriting.2011-11-15 +1 copiesOctober 16 20112011-10-16A man in a saffron-orange dhoti-style wrap with a gold-bordered shawl stands beside a golden lamp stand and a white marble deity murti, with a brass kalasha, brass cup and offering plate on a stone ledge. He wears a red tilak, a long rudraksha mala and bead bracelets, and his long dark hair is swept back. Behind him a whiteboard with handwritten notes hangs on a red and cream wall. Probable Swamiji by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas, standing in a satsang setting.2011-11-15 +1 copiesNovember 15 20112011-11-15 +1 copiesMarch 02 20132013-03-02A photograph of a satsang-style gathering in an indoor hall with maroon drapes behind. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair, gold hoop earrings, a long rudraksha-style gold necklace and ornate gold pendant, and a rust-orange wrap over the shoulder raises his right hand in blessing toward a line of men. Around him, men in white shirts and dhotis stand with palms joined, bowing heads in devotion; one wears a lanyard. A man on the right in a white dhoti with a gold border smiles. Metal crowd barriers and white ropes line the foreground. The central figure matches the appearance of a person, shown in the role of giving blessings to devotees.2013-07-15A man with long swept-back black hair and a red bindi on his forehead raises his right hand to his brow in a salute-like gesture while looking upward. He wears a rust-red saffron wrap draped over bare shoulders, with multiple strands of rudraksha beads and a long ornate gold-bead necklace, plus gold-and-beaded bracelets on his wrist and upper arm. A small gold earring is visible. The background shows a salmon-pink wall and a blurred person at the right edge. The distinctive long hair, saffron wrap, rudraksha malas and gold necklace are compatible with the page's Swamiji cues, so this is a probable identification of Swamiji in person, described by appearance only.2013-05-18February 26 20132013-02-26 +1 copies
