December 27 20092009-12-27December 27 20092009-12-27A photograph of a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair seated cross-legged on an ornate golden throne (peetha) framed by a garland arch of yellow marigolds, white flowers, purple and red blooms and green leaves. He wears a saffron-orange robe with gold trim, a red bindi, and a long ornate gold necklace with a mala-style chain. Gold lion-head armrest ornaments and a golden deity relief appear behind him. A microphone stands near his side. The Swamiji (probable) appearance cues are the long hair, saffron robe and ornate gold necklace, seated on a throne as a guru figure at a darshan or satsang setting.2009-12-27January 06 20132013-01-06A smiling man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits cross-legged on a golden throne decorated with large garlands of yellow, purple, red and white flowers. Behind him a golden carved backrest bears a deity relief, and red and purple cloth hangs in the background. Yellow flowers and fruit decorate the throne base. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at left against a white drape.
