Beside him a young woman in white with a yellow sash holds a microphone. A white-clad man in the left foreground points, and a blue plastic drum sits nearby. At the right edge, a figure in orange robes wears a long marigold and purple garland, gold beaded necklaces and a rudraksha mala, cropped at the frame. Onlookers in white stand behind.2009-12-25Outdoor procession on a dusty ground with multicoloured tasselled ceremonial umbrellas on poles. A man with long dark hair and a flower garland wears an orange saffron garment and holds a microphone, while nearby a figure in yellow-bordered white holds a long pole. Many devotees in white shirts and yellow-sashed white clothes crowd around, some with hands folded in prayer. Trident-shaped ceremonial staffs appear at right. The no-visible-candidate appearance is uncertain, so the man is described by role only.2009-12-25December 25 20092009-12-25Outdoor procession on dry, sandy ground under a clear blue sky. A central man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, wearing a long gold-toned bead necklace and a large gold pendant, walks forward smiling with long dark hair, while a red-and-tassel umbrella and a multicoloured umbrella with a bird emblem shade the group. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis, a man in a saffron shawl, and a woman in a pink sari walk closely together, with more umbrellas and people behind. Tall dry grass and trees appear in the background. Bodies are numerous and tightly packed, so the count is above twenty-one.2007-02-02December 28 20062006-12-28December 30 20062006-12-30Outdoor procession under an overcast sky. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron draped garment, a heavy gold-bead necklace and gold bangles, and is walking with attendants (a person). To the left, a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha-style mala holds a wooden tray or box decorated with white flowers and red roses, while another orange-robed man with a garland stands beside a red-and-green fringed umbrella held over the group. Attendants in white kurtas with yellow and orange shawls surround them, one man in white with glasses and a yellow shawl speaking to the central figure, and bald men with coloured powder marks on their faces and heads.2010-10-17Outdoor procession under a pale sky at a Dasara celebration. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange garment draped over the shoulder, a multi-strand marigold garland, and a gold armlet; a red and gold ceremonial umbrella with fringe is held over him. Men beside him wear white dhotis and a yellow shawl; one holds a gold kalasha-style vessel and another carries a white floral garland. Some participants have coloured powder, kumkum or vibhuti smeared on their faces and heads. Swamiji (probable) appears as the saffron-clad central figure with long hair and rudraksha-style and floral garlands, distinguished from the white-clad attendants.2010-10-17December 25 20092009-12-25December 30 20062006-12-30 +1 copies
