September 14 20152015-09-14Outdoor procession scene with a man in the centre wearing a red-maroon garment, a long multi-strand gold necklace and a thick flower garland of red, yellow and white blooms. Around him, several men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas walk closely, one holding a decorated umbrella overhead; one bald man in orange at left wears gold ornaments and earrings. To the right a man in white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha mala has tilak markings. Devotees in the background hold flower arrangements. Trees and open sky form the backdrop. The central figure has long swept-back hair and gold ornaments, but appearance cues are not conclusive, so the identity remains unsure.2013-11-11July 28 20082008-07-28 +1 copiesPhotograph of a group walking barefoot through a stone temple doorway, with a crowd behind them. The central figure wears a plain saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, long dark hair, a white forehead mark with a red dot, and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace. Flanking him are men in orange and maroon-bordered garments with gold necklaces, one holding a folded pink cloth. On the right, a shaved-headed man in white ritual clothes with a rudraksha mala and white forehead marks speaks. Behind them a bespectacled man in orange wears a gold necklace. The stone wall, wooden door and crowd suggest a temple entrance.2010-01-08A procession outdoors under a red and yellow ceremonial canopy with fringed tassels and red banners. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe, a red and white flower garland, a large gold necklace and gold armbands, smiling and raising a hand in greeting. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas carry tall silver staffs and a silver-and-red ornamental object, while others in saffron robes walk behind. A man on the right has white tripundra markings on his forehead and a flower-decorated silver item. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure, distinguished by long swept-back hair, a gold necklace, a red garland and saffron clothing; he is shown in procession with attendants.2016-07-19March 11 20172017-03-11 +1 copiesJuly 01 20142014-07-01October 08 20162016-10-08May 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copiesMarch 07 20162016-03-07Outdoor photo of a procession on a dusty street with a yellow-and-red building behind. Beside him, an older man with shaved head, vibhuti marks and a rudraksha mala in orange robes walks smiling. On the right, a man in orange with bead necklaces holds a pale cloth. A man in white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl walks in the background, and a bare-chested man at left raises a wooden pole. Several more people fill the crowd.2012-05-18Outdoor procession under bright sky with palm trees. A central saffron-robed figure with long swept-back hair wears a large red, white and yellow flower garland, a gold necklace and rudraksha malas, and is shaded by an orange umbrella held above him; a ceremonial silver-topped parasol and a decorated saffron flag appear behind. Around him, shaven-headed sannyasis in saffron and orange robes wear rudraksha malas and gold pendants, and men in white shirts and dhotis walk alongside, one holding a brass instrument at the right edge.
