A photograph of a night-time temple shrine decorated for Deepavali. Two gilded deity murtis stand in a golden arched niche framed by carved grey stone pillars and red curtains, both draped in flower garlands. Between them a golden kalasha-like vessel sits on a gold platform, with a smaller red-clad figure seated at the base. Tall brass oil lamps and many small flame lamps light the platform, and strings of fairy lights hang across the ceiling. Potted banana-type plants flank the shrine. No people are visible.2009-10-17A lit temple shrine at night with a large golden deity murti seated on a golden throne within an ornate arched frame, adorned with multicolored flower garlands and a golden crown.
