A photograph of a large group of young boys seated cross-legged on a tiled floor during a puja in a hall. They wear saffron-orange dhoti-style wraps with pink or red borders, rudraksha malas around their necks, and white sacred ash bands across their foreheads. Many hold small brass bells and handheld items, and several have their hands raised in ritual gestures. Brass plates with flowers, a small kalasha-style vessel and brass lamps sit on a low tray in the foreground. Behind them, adults in white and saffron sit on chairs and mats near red curtains and stacked red chairs.

Many young men and boys wear saffron-orange dhotis and shawls with white sacred markings on their bodies and foreheads, sitting cross-legged in rows. Brass plates with flowers, sweets and small oil lamps sit before them, and several people hold incense sticks. Among them a man in the foreground at left wears a rudraksha mala and bare chest, and a boy in white and pink kurta sits at right. Behind the rows, devotees in white clothing and a large portrait of a bearded saint hang on the wall. Crowd appears to number in the dozens to low hundreds.

A large indoor ritual gathering of many seated young boys and a few girls in saffron-orange robes, with white sacred ash markings on their foreheads and arms and rudraksha malas around their necks. They sit on mats on a white tiled floor, with brass oil lamps, small brass vessels, pink flower petals and banana-leaf offerings arranged before them, some tending the items and others with hands folded in prayer. Behind them rows of brass or gold-tipped pillars and more seated devotees fill the hall, with a red-and-gold wall painting visible at the back. No person clearly matches the presiding figure with ornate saffron clothing and crown cues, so a person is marked unsure.
