A construction site on bare reddish earth with rough palm-lined path. Large coils of rusty steel reinforcement rod lie across the ground, beside a pile of grey concrete blocks and rough stones on the left. A young man in a yellow shirt and khaki trousers crouches at right, sorting the rods, with a hammer lying nearby. Two other workers are visible in the middle distance, one crouching by a bundle of bent rebar. Thatched-roof white buildings and coconut palms stand in the background.2006-10-29December 12 20062006-12-12Two young male workers crouch on bare red earth at a construction site, tying a grid of rusted steel reinforcing bars with wire. One wears a white-and-blue striped shirt and grey trousers with blue slippers and uses a tool on the grid; the other wears a white-and-blue striped shirt and dark jeans and binds the rods with his hands. Stacked rebar mats, loose bundles of rods, grey stones and red bricks lie nearby, with green grass and a palm trunk behind. No deity, a person candidate or ritual activity is visible.2006-10-29June 08 20132013-06-08Aadheenam Construction 20092009-01-01October 29 20062006-10-29 +1 copiesA photograph of a rough, overgrown site being cleared for construction, with a dirt path running through patchy grass and scrub. In the foreground, a bundle of thin metal rods lies along the ground. Three men are visible: two in the left foreground bending over the rods, one shirtless, and a figure on the right near a wooden frame, plus a small distant figure beside a mound of earth. Piles of dry branches, cut sticks and debris sit along the edges, with trees and bushes behind. No a person candidate is visible.A photograph of an under-construction concrete building roof covered in a dense grid of rusty steel rebar, with vertical rebar rods rising at the right foreground. Four workers stand and crouch on the rebar mesh; one man in an orange shirt and dark trousers stands at left, another in a light shirt stands near a wooden plank, and a third in white sits at centre. Rebar and wooden formwork cover the slab, with a concrete block wall and stacked materials at the lower edge. Open green land, scattered trees and a small white building with a red wall lie beyond, under a pale sky with overhead wires. No a person candidate is visible.2009-10-15A construction site at an ashram campus with a dry, grassy ground. In the foreground lie bundles of steel reinforcing rod and a stack of angled steel sections. Behind them, steel roof trusses rise over concrete block walls and partly built multi-storey white buildings, with a red-brick building on the right and a dump truck parked among heaps of sand. Three or four workers in light clothing bend over the rebar and framing, while a few figures stand near the trusses. No a person candidate is visible.A construction site on bare reddish earth with a person in a flowing saffron-orange robe standing beside a steel rebar cage set in a concrete footing. The figure has long dark hair and wears a rudraksha mala around the neck, and stands at the edge of a trench while looking toward the work. To the left, a worker in a white shirt and light trousers stands beside a concrete pillar form. Behind them are stacked concrete blocks, rubble, bamboo scaffolding, palm trees and corrugated sheets.2006-12-09October 29 20062006-10-29 +1 copiesDecember 19 20092009-12-19
