Outdoor photograph under green trees and a palm. On the left, a smiling young man in an orange turban and flowing saffron-orange robe, with a red tilak mark on his forehead, looks back toward the camera. Beside him, three men in casual shirts, one striped pink, one checked white-and-blue and one light blue, stand in a row, and a woman in a red garment appears at the right edge, with a partially visible woman in white in the foreground at left. Appearance cues (orange turban and robe, tilak) are distinctive but the page does not place him at this event, so identity is uncertain. Five or six people are visible in total.2003-01-01Outdoor photograph on a stone-paved path beside tropical greenery and a palm. A man in an orange turban and orange robes with long dark hair stands at left, turned in profile, his arms partly raised. Beside him, two men in casual shirts stand close together: one in a striped shirt with a brown belt and grey trousers, the other in a checked shirt, glasses, a moustache and blue jeans. The orange-clad figure's appearance has several cues, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so he is described by role as a man in orange robes.A crowd gathers outdoors under leafy trees in daylight. In the foreground a man in an orange turban, orange robe and rudraksha mala stands with palms pressed together in namaste, smiling broadly. Beside him a man in white clothes with an orange shawl, glasses and a red tilak presses his hands together. Other men in white shirts and dhotis, some with orange shawls, surround them, with more onlookers and a few women in saris behind. The appearance-based candidate for the figure in orange is consistent with a person, but the face cannot be confirmed, so identity is uncertain.2007-01-12Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots, showing a group of men in orange and peach sannyasi-style robes standing together on dirt ground near a low white stone platform.
