Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva DevalayaOutdoors under a large spreading tree, a bronze-grey statue of a deity murti stands on a pedestal, draped with a burlap-like cloth and coloured fabric, with raised arms. A woman with long dark hair in a sleeveless orange saffron garment stands at left, looking toward the statue. Several people gather around: a man in a white striped shirt bends forward with his head near the statue's base, another man in a yellow-green top and orange dhoti reaches toward the figure, and a man with a white shirt and rudraksha-style beaded necklace with an ID badge stands behind. A few more onlookers, including a person in a white shirt and a young woman with a lanyard, are visible.2004-12-31Outdoors under a large spreading tree, a man with long dark hair wearing a flowing saffron-orange robe stands at left with his hands folded at chest level, smiling. Beside a dark stone statue of a seated deity murti draped with a rough burlap-like cloth and a red-and-cream fabric, several men in white and striped shirts and a man in a light-blue checked shirt reach to touch the statue's base and legs. A woman in black and a man in white stand watching with two young girls in white dresses, and a hand holds up a phone at right. A small stone pedestal lies at the bottom of the frame.2004-12-31Photo 11731630Outdoors beneath a large spreading banyan tree, a person in an orange saffron wrap draped over one shoulder and bare-chested stands at a dark grey stone Dakshinamoorthy murti. On the right, a dark stone deity murti of a multi-armed figure seated on a pedestal is adorned with a garland of white flowers and a long beaded garland, with an orange-and-gold headdress; a plaque sits on the pedestal. In the foreground, a woman in a rust-red and gold-bordered sari with a garland stands with hands folded in prayer. Beside her, a man in an orange-and-gold dhoti and garland stands. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand behind a metal railing, and a smaller black shivalinga with yellow marigold garlands sits at the base near red-draped stone.2015-02-05A photograph of workers at an outdoor site under a palm frond moving a large grey stone deity murti. Four men strain to steer it: one in a white shirt at upper left, two in grey and white at lower left, and a man in an orange shirt and jeans pushing the statue. Beside the statue, a standing person in a long orange robe with long dark hair watches with hands clasped near the chest. Behind them are a white building, a bench, and green trees under a pale sky.Outdoors on bare reddish earth beneath a coconut palm, a man in a short-sleeved tan shirt and jeans bends toward a large dark stone murti of a multi-armed seated deity. The statue has a crown, elaborate necklaces and several raised arms holding objects. To the right, a smiling person with long dark hair wears a flowing saffron-orange robe and rests one hand on the statue's raised arm. Another man in blue stands behind the statue, and a metal bench-like frame sits at the right edge. The setting suggests a sculpture being handled or placed at a site. The person in orange shows a person appearance from long hair and saffron robe, but the page indicates he is not at this event, so identity is unsure.Outdoor puja at a shrine under trees: a dark stone deity murti wrapped in an orange cloth, adorned with a red and gold necklace and a headcloth, stands at left. In front, a bare-backed man in an orange dhoti kneels with his back to the camera. Beside him, a bearded man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala raises a tall gold multi-tiered aarti lamp over the deity. Other devotees in white and orange sit near the base, with an elderly man in white shirt observing at right, and white flower offerings lie on the stone.2005-03-08Kailaasa Paramparagatha Surya Vamsa Sarvajnapeetha Surangi Samrajyam +1 copies
