A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne receives ritual service. The central person wears an orange-and-gold garment, a long white and red flower garland, gold bangles, a red-and-gold beaded armband and a red tilak on the forehead, with a green parrot-shaped ornament on top of the head. Two attendants lean in: one on the left in a rust-red monastic robe with a shaved head and glasses, pouring or washing the feet over a steel bowl of yellow turmeric-like paste, and one on the right in an orange sari, scooping from a banana leaf. A steel bowl and leaf plate sit on the floor in front. The scene suggests a padapuja-style foot ritual, but the figure's identity cannot be established from appearance, so the central person is described by role only.
