A devotee in white dhoti and shawl, with red sash printed with Sanskrit text and rudraksha malas, reaches up to a white cloth panel. Beside him, a man in white dhoti with a red sash and rudraksha malas is having his head and forehead touched and adorned with a rudraksha mala by an attendant in orange-red cloth. A third attendant on the right, wearing an orange-red wrap and glasses, holds a mala near the head and carries a headset microphone. White sandalwood or vibhuti marks are visible on the arms. The scene is a ceremonial preparation with rudraksha and ritual garments.2018-01-05January 05 20182018-01-05Photograph of a ritual scene before an ornate gold-painted carved panel. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red-and-black bordered sash and rudraksha mala stands with a red tilak on his forehead while a younger assistant in white dhoti with a red bordered sash applies a marking with a stick near the top of his head. Two white rectangular panels are behind them. A third man at right, wearing a saffron-orange robe and rudraksha beads, adjusts something near his head. The setting suggests Adi Kailasa, a ceremonial preparation.2018-01-05September 20 20152015-09-20Photograph of a ritual blessing inside a temple-style hall with gold-painted decor and a gilded arch behind. A man in a red-orange turban and yellow-orange garment with a flower garland raises his hand to touch the head of a kneeling devotee in a pink shirt, who has his palms pressed together in greeting. A bald priest in an orange-red cloth and rudraksha malas leans in from the left. On the right, a man in a white dhoti with rudraksha bands on his arm stands beside them. Behind, a woman in white with a rudraksha mala and other people in white watch, with a red curtain and deity figures in the background. Whether the turbaned figure is a person cannot be determined from the image alone, so the identity is marked unsure.2015-11-01August 31 20152015-08-31 +1 copiesMay 10 20182018-05-10 +1 copiesA photograph of a long-haired man in white dhoti and shawl with gold borders, a rudraksha mala and gold chain, placing his right hand on the head of a standing young man in glasses and striped shirt during a blessing. A shirtless man with grey hair, rudraksha malas and an orange-and-white cloth printed with script sits with his palms raised while a dreadlocked sannyasi in orange robes presses a hand to his forehead. A bald man in white robes and rudraksha beads stands behind them, and a printed sheet of mantra text is held nearby. A bronze figure and a gold-edged throne sit in the foreground. No appearance-based a person candidate is clearly visible, so the seated figure and the robed officiant are described by role only.2017-08-03
