A photograph of drummers and onlookers at an outdoor event on red earth. In the foreground a shirtless man in a white dhoti and a blue sash plays a large barrel drum held by a rope-laced frame, gripping a wooden stick. Beside him, another shirtless man in white dhoti strikes a drum with a stick, and a child in the background watches. Several women in saris and white-clad men stand behind them under a shaded pavilion of leaves and poles, with a red-and-white sari visible among the crowd. No a person candidate is visibly present in this frame.

Photograph of a drumming group performing outdoors on bare sandy ground with a striped cloth mat in front. Seven male drummers, mostly bare-chested, wear white dhotis with gold borders, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and blue shoulder cloths. Three seated players strike large barrel drums with cords, while standing players hold small hand cymbals or bells. Behind them, spectators in casual clothes stand beside a green mesh barrier and a red tarp, with construction equipment visible in the background.

A photograph of a percussion performance under a thatched palm-leaf canopy. Several bare-chested drummers in white dhotis play large barrel drums with wooden sticks, with a cymbal player at right and a blue sash across one drummer's shoulder. Behind them a crowd of onlookers stands in the open courtyard, including a man in a white shirt and women in saris, with banana plants and a painted pillar visible in the background.

A photograph of a group of male drummers performing indoors under a tent-like canopy with painted decorative pillars. Several bare-chested men wear white dhotis, some with pink or green-bordered cloths, and beaded necklaces. They play cylindrical drums, which are held at their sides and struck with curved sticks, while others stand behind them. Colourful striped mats cover the floor, and a crowd is partly visible in the background.

A photograph of a street-side procession of drummers in front of a red-washed wall. Several men and women in orange, saffron and maroon dhotis and saris play large drums and cymbals; one bare-chested drummer near the centre wears a rudraksha mala and white forehead markings, and another in a red-and-gold cloth holds a drumstick. A woman in a teal sari and gold blouse strikes a large drum at right. Blue and pink decorative umbrellas stand above the group and garlands of flowers lie at the lower left. Bystanders watch at the right edge. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible.

Several men sit cross-legged on bare sandy ground under shrubs and a small palm, playing traditional drums. Two large udal drums with cloth wrappings and rope tuning lacing lie in front, one being struck with a stick by a man in a white shirt and white dhoti, while another seated man in an orange shawl and white clothes holds a rope-tensioned drum. A man in a white turban and orange shawl plays small hand cymbals, and a woman in an orange shawl sits at the left edge. Several participants wear white clothing and orange shawls, with a forehead mark on the seated drummer. Dry trees and rocks fill the background.

A crowd of men and women gathers under a canopy on a red earth floor, watching a percussion group of about ten bare-chested drummers in white dhotis with blue sashes. Several drummers play large barrel drums called thavil or melam, held horizontally and struck with sticks, while others play small cymbals. Behind them, spectators in white shirts, saffron and orange saris, and green and blue saris stand close together. The scene resembles a temple-style drum ensemble welcoming a procession. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible.

Outdoor photo of a drumming troupe performing on bare sandy ground in front of a green tarpaulin screen. Several shirtless young men wear white dhotis with gold or yellow borders and blue cloth draped over their shoulders, along with beaded necklaces and rudraksha-style malas. The drummers play brown barrel drums with white heads, and one man holds a small hand cymbal. Three men kneel in the foreground while others stand behind them. Spectators stand behind a rope barrier at the top left, and a pink blanket lies beneath the kneeling drummers.
