A woman in front center wears a white and gold-bordered sari, a rudraksha mala and a pendant, with her hands raised in a gesture of devotion. Others have hands in anjali or clapping, and a woman at right leans forward with eyes closed. The scene appears to be an indoor gathering on a hall floor with plastic chairs in the background.2017-01-12A seated group of devotees in orange, red and maroon robes with rudraksha malas gathers in a hall for a satsang or puja. Several women in front wear white or pale vertical tilaka marks on their foreheads and close their eyes, some with hands folded or raised in prayer. Behind them, rows of people in white saris and white clothes sit and listen. A red-and-gold draped figure at the front centre holds offerings near a brass plate. Pale orange and maroon shawls and rudraksha beads are prominent throughout the scene. No figure in this image is clearly identifiable as a person by the required cues, so the central seated devotee is described by role only.2013-10-13October 29 20132013-10-29 +1 copies
