Outdoor temple procession at an ashram under a corrugated metal shelter, with palm trees and a red wall behind. A bald man in saffron-orange robes and a saffron shawl, wearing rudraksha malas and glasses, carries a brass tray with two lamps or vessels across a concrete walkway. Around him, young men and women in white dhotis and sarees with gold borders and rudraksha malas walk in procession, and others in orange clothing follow. Smoke rises from a decorated kalasha-like pot and a tall ornate pillar with pink and white tiers stands to the right. Visible identity cues are not strong enough to name the man in saffron, so he is described by role as a priest in saffron carrying ritual vessels.2016-04-03January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesApril 03 20162016-04-03January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesSeptember 26 20142014-09-26A procession climbs temple steps in an outdoor courtyard at dusk. Several people in saffron-orange dhotis and wraps carry the canopy and walk in a line; a figure at center has long dark hair and a bare torso, another wears a striped headband and a kumkum mark, and a man in an orange turban carries a bag. Drummers in orange robes play a large drum at upper left, and a child in orange holds a white flower. Seated spectators in white clothes line the steps and terrace behind. A stone pedestal and square stone benches with striped cloths sit at right, and a man in white runs down the steps at upper right.2018-01-01
