A procession under a covered canopy carries a deity murti decorated with a large garland of red, orange, yellow, purple and white flowers. A large ornate umbrella with multicoloured stripes and a golden fringe shades the murti. Several men in saffron-orange dhotis and shoulder cloths, many bare-chested and wearing rudraksha malas, carry the palanquin, one holding a green leaf offering. A man in white dhoti stands at the centre, and a woman in orange at the right has her hands joined. Behind the murti a golden-hued shrine interior is visible, and a small fenced area with a sign stands at the left. A smaller deity murti with a yellow flower garland is also carried at the front.2017-01-11January 03 20152015-01-03September 09 20142014-09-09December 23 20082008-12-23 +1 copiesDecember 23 20082008-12-23 +1 copiesDecember 23 20082008-12-23January 11 20172017-01-11A photograph of a procession in an outdoor courtyard. At left, a golden ornate palanquin frame holds a silver-white deity murti garlanded with yellow and orange marigold and white flower garlands, on a maroon and gold draped base. Around it, several young male devotees in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls with rudraksha malas walk alongside. One man in the centre wears a white dhoti and shawl with white tripundra markings and a mala. Others carry or steady the palanquin, and a palm-tree backdrop with a green waste bin is visible.2016-01-15January 11 20172017-01-11September 09 20142014-09-09Outdoor temple courtyard during a ritual procession. An elderly white-haired man with a shaved head, wearing white dhoti and a yellow-bordered shawl, stands with palms joined in namaskar before a richly decorated deity murti dressed with red and orange flower garlands and ornate gold-and-white embellishments. Around him, several people in orange-saffron robes and beaded malas stand in a group; one man in orange holds a tray of green leaves and offerings, and a woman in orange and rudraksha beads holds a small brass lamp. A man in a maroon shawl and glasses films with a phone. White cloth is laid across the floor, and flower petals and a striped mat lie on the ground. Water tanks and a fence appear in the background.2017-01-11 +1 copiesJanuary 11 20172017-01-11
