A man in a red and gold turban and rust-coloured dhoti stands at the doorway, with a figure beside him in a red-and-saffron garment and bare chest holding flowers and offering a greeting. Several men in white dhotis and shirts, one wearing a yellow t-shirt, stand to the right watching, a woman in a dark outfit is among them, and a temple gopuram with red and orange decorations is visible beyond.2014-06-29A photograph inside a small concrete temple room during a kumbabhishekam ceremony. Garlands of orange, yellow and pink flowers and banana bunches are arranged before a shrine at left, with a lit oil lamp on the floor. A man in a rust-orange turban, saffron-orange robes and a long flower garland, holding a brass plate, stands at center beside a row of men in orange robes and rudraksha malas. On the right a man in white dhoti and shawl with orange-and-gold border stands with hands folded. Men in white shirts and dhotis and a cameraman with a video camera stand behind the shrine. The swami figure's presence is only visually suggested, so the identity is left uncertain.2015-05-01A temple ritual inside a plain whitewashed hall at a kumbabhishekam-style ceremony. A woman in an orange-saffron sari with a matching head wrap holds a brass plate with a lit oil lamp, and is garlanded with white and orange flower garlands. Around her, men in white dhotis, some bare-chested with red-striped cloths, stand with folded hands. Decorated pots and offerings are laid out with fruit, flowers, coconuts and marigold garlands on a white cloth, with small oil lamps burning on the floor. Bystanders, including children, watch from behind.2015-05-01A temple ritual scene inside a stone-pillared hall. In the centre, a man in a dark maroon-brown dhoti and shawl, with a tall dark turban and a beaded garland, stands with hands together in front of a tray of coconuts decorated with white flowers and painted pots, scattered with rose petals. Beside him, a man in saffron-orange cloth holds a long ceremonial staff topped with a silver finial. Several bare-chested men in white dhotis with gold borders, and others in saffron cloth, stand around the tray, some holding offerings and small brass plates. The floor is strewn with pink flower petals, and a trident-like silver staff rises in the background.2018-04-29October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesNovember 20 20102010-11-20A temple ritual inside a stone-pillared hall with pink flower petals scattered on the grey floor.
