Outdoor ritual under a white tent on dirt ground, with a floral garland hanging from a pole at left. Two men in white dhotis bend over a dark, wet mass of material on the ground, one reaching into it with his hand. A bare-chested man in a dark orange-brown cloth bends forward, leaning on the shoulder of a standing figure in an orange-brown robe with a long rudraksha mala. Around them, a crowd of about twenty people, mostly in white clothes, watch closely, including a bald man in orange, a woman in a red shawl, several children in yellow and white, and a man in a blue checked shirt standing at the upper right. The scene appears to be a ritual preparation involving earthen material.

An outdoor land puja on bare red earth beside dry trees and palms. A figure in an orange turban, orange robe and layered rudraksha malas stands centre, receiving a petal offering from a woman in an orange sari who holds a plate of flowers. A young sapling with leaves stands in a ring of flowers and a small arrangement of fruit, lamps and offerings lies on a striped mat at left. Around them, men and women in white dhotis, white shirts and white saris stand with palms pressed together, and one man at right wears a white dhoti and grey shirt. A man in white at far left wears a dark rudraksha-style necklace. The scene is a ceremonial ground-blessing on open land.

Outdoor ground-breaking puja on bare red earth among leafless trees and palms. A small young sapling stands in the centre, encircled by a ring of flower petals and garlands. In front, a figure in orange robes and a red-brown cloth is seen from behind, holding a tray or offering. Beside a freshly planted sapling, a man in an orange robe and orange turban wears a white flower garland and holds his hands in anjali, with a rudraksha mala visible; a shaved-headed attendant in white stands nearby. Several people in white dhotis and white sarees, some with yellow shawls, stand with folded hands, and a patterned carpet, brass lamps and a white cloth with flowers lie on the ground at left. The scene reads as a land puja with a sapling offering.

Outdoor ritual at the Kanchipuram ashram land inauguration: a central figure in saffron-orange robes with an orange head wrap, long dark hair, and a garland of white and yellow flowers holds a small lit flame over a pit in the ground, with a yellow-flowered garland at his feet. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand around with palms pressed together, and an older bearded man in orange and a garland stands to the left. Above is a striped purple and white canopy with leafy decoration. The pit is lined with flower petals and a rangoli border, with brass vessels and a plate of offerings nearby. Ritual fire worship, bhoomi pooja setting.

Outdoor photo of a firewalking ritual on bare earth. In the foreground a young woman in plain white clothes and a beaded necklace stands with palms pressed together in namaste beside a long trench of glowing embers and ash. A golden ornamental post with a twisted shaft stands at the left edge near the pit. Around her, men in white dhotis and orange shawls, a man with a rudraksha mala, and women in saris including pink, green and yellow stand watching. A man in white bends over the pit at left.

Outdoor flag-hoisting scene on bare earth. A figure in an orange-red sleeveless top and orange wrap, with a white and pink flower garland over the shoulders, stands with their back to the camera and holds a brass lamp or vessel. Before them a tall white flagpole rises, and a tray of bananas, greens and flowers sits on a white cloth table at left. Around them devotees stand with palms pressed together in namaskar, including men in white shirts and dhotis, a man in a checked shirt, and women in saris. Two young men near the centre-right wear white dhotis, rudraksha malas and one has an orange-trimmed dhoti. Red bricks line the base of the pole and rose petals lie on the ground. Several people stand on steps in the background.
