A photograph inside a Buddhist temple hall with white columns and a red carpet. A man in an orange-saffron dhoti-style garment and a yellow-orange shawl stands barefoot with his hands folded at a shrine, wearing a long gold-and-yellow flower garland. Beside him, a man in white ritual clothes with a dark beaded necklace stands at the edge of the frame. The shrine holds a gilded Buddha image in a tree-shaped backdrop, a golden seated monk statue, marigolds and white flowers, water bottles, and two yellow donation boxes on the red carpet. A small dog walks across the polished floor. The left-side figure is partly cropped.

Photograph of a puja inside a temple hall. A tall figure with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron robe and red-and-gold garland-like adornments, stands at a golden ritual altar, holding a ceremonial item. Around him, men in white and saffron robes assist, one holding a microphone. Behind the altar, a gilded deity murti sits on a red-draped platform decorated with a long garland of white, pink and purple flowers. Golden arched niches frame additional murtis. On the right, several devotees in white clothes stand with palms pressed together in namaste. The scene suggests a devotional ceremony at the altar.

A temple-hall puja in progress. A figure in orange robes sits cross-legged on a raised pink-and-magenta cushioned seat in front of an ornate gold shrine, hands pressed together in namaskar. Around them devotees sit on mats: a shaved-headed man in orange on the left, another in orange behind him, and several people in white kurtas and cream clothing in the foreground, plus a woman in a yellow salwar kameez at right. Brass pots, a steel kalasha, a thali with flower petals and flower vases are on the floor. Behind them stand gilded deity murtis dressed in orange and red cloth, and a dark-skinned deity with a crown and garland hangs in a framed niche at left. The scene suggests a pada puja.

A photograph inside a temple shrine during a puja. A seated figure with long dark hair wears orange robes and sits with palms pressed together in prayer on a raised red and pink cushioned seat, flanked by flower arrangements of white and yellow blooms. A bald man in an orange robe stands at left, extending his hand toward the seated figure as if offering blessings, while a man in an orange shirt kneels in front with brass vessels nearby. Several devotees in white kurtas and saris sit in the foreground with heads bowed. Behind them, gilded frames hold deity murtis and figures in ornate robes, and a shrine with a dark-skinned deity adorned with garlands stands at left. A small plate of flowers and fruit sits on a red cloth in the foreground.

A photograph inside a plain white-walled room with red-orange curtains behind. A man in a saffron-orange robe and a dark rudraksha mala has long dark hair and his right hand resting on an ornate gilded canopy above a gold-painted stand with an elephant figure. Beside him, two men in white dhotis with maroon borders stand; the one on the left wears a gold chain necklace and has white markings on his arms and forehead, and the other partially visible man in white stands behind. A framed devotional picture of a deity hangs on the upper wall, and gilded ritual vessels are on a table at right.

Photo inside a temple shrine with a stone pillared entrance. A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl with gold borders, face and arms marked with white paint, lifts a lamp toward a golden deity murti in an arched gold frame. A second priest in white with a rudraksha-style necklace stands at right with palms joined in prayer, and a third in white folds his hands at left. Behind them sit large golden seated deity statues, one in an orange-saffron robe, on a black stone pedestal with a shivalinga-like black stone. A white marble seated figure in meditation pose stands in the foreground, and a small gold figure rests on a base at lower right. Water reflects on the floor.

A photograph inside a temple shrine area with an ornate golden throne (peetha) draped in red cushions and garlanded with yellow and orange flowers. On the throne sits a framed portrait of a person in orange clothing, with a flower garland on the frame. Beside it, a multi-tiered brass oil lamp stand holds lit oil lamps. In the foreground a priest in white dhoti and shawl, with a sacred thread and a white marking on his shoulder, stands at a stone counter facing the throne. To the right, a deity murti stands in an arched golden niche with red drapery, decorated with garlands. One partially visible person in white stands at the right edge.
