The deity murti, dark-faced with a silver-white face and adorned with yellow and orange marigold garlands, is framed by an ornate gold arch and green curtains. Two dark stone dvarapala guardian statues, each wearing a yellow garland, flank the shrine. Offerings of fruit and brass vessels sit on a platform before the murti. Seated devotees, many women in colourful saris and some with braided hair, fill the foreground, several with hands folded in prayer. White temple walls surround the scene.2006-10-01November 09 20072007-11-09October 01 20062006-10-01November 18 20102010-11-18 +1 copiesA seated man in an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, hands folded in his lap, a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, two deity murtis are decorated with large garlands of yellow, red, green and purple flowers, one with a golden crown. Several people in white and cream clothing, one in a red blouse, one with a yellow-bordered sari, sit or kneel on the floor in front of the throne, some with hands joined, appearing to take part in a pada puja. A golden bull figure stands at the left and a second decorated throne is at the right edge.2010-11-18 +1 copiesNovember 18 20102010-11-18 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange saffron robe and long rudraksha mala sits in an orange armchair on a raised stone platform before a shrine. Behind him stands a stone-carved shrine with a gilded arch and orange curtains. Within the shrine are two deity murtis draped in blue and purple garments and garlanded with red and yellow flowers, flanked by brass oil lamps and a gilded kalasha-like object. The seated figure has long, swept-back hair and bare feet resting on an orange footstool, holding a ceremonial brass staff. Small offering plates with fruit sit at the platform edge. The white pedestal in front holds a small box.2010-07-02 +1 copiesNovember 09 20072007-11-09A photo of a temple ritual inside a gilded shrine hall with an ornate golden facade. In the centre, a seated figure on a golden throne wears a white garland and red-and-white necklaces and sits on a raised seat at the right. Behind him, deity murtis stand in the shrine, including a figure with a crown and a sword-like staff and a figure in red and gold. Attendants in saffron-orange robes pull a white cloth across the altar, and oil lamps burn on the platform. In the foreground, about ten devotees sit on the floor with bare or saffron-clad backs, some with white body markings, facing the shrine. A dark-skinned deity murti in white robes with a garland stands to the left, flanked by golden figures, with a red-turbaned statue beside it.2019-05-18A photograph inside a temple sanctum showing a man seated on a low wooden seat in an orange saffron garment with a gold necklace, long swept-back hair, and bandaged or wrapped forearm, his hands raised in a ritual gesture over a dark black stone deity murti. Behind him a second person in orange sits near a black stone shivalinga on a black circular peetha, decorated with white and red-and-yellow flower garlands. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style brass vessel, and marigold offerings fill the foreground. The man is an appearance-based probable Swamiji candidate, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold necklace, presented as physically present, and his role is officiating priest performing puja at the shrine. The scene reads as a temple worship moment with a deity murti and shivalinga.2007-11-09
