November 19 20172017-11-19A seated man with long dark hair, a red-orange shawl over bare shoulders, and a red tilak on his forehead sits on an ornate silver throne with carved floral arches and lion-head armrests, draped with leopard-print cushions. A bald man in a white shirt bows forward with his head resting against the seated man's chest while the seated man's hands rest on his shoulders. Another hand holding a small white card or paper appears at the left edge. The seated figure has eyes closed in a calm expression. Behind the throne, a large ornate backdrop is visible. The appearance of the seated man with long hair, red shawl and forehead marking gives a probable Swamiji identification, though the image is partly obscured.2017-09-26April 04 20182018-04-04A photograph of a ceremonial blessing inside an ornately decorated hall. A bare-chested, shaved-headed devotee kneels forward while a seated man in a rust-red dhoti-style wrap and rust shawl, with a long braided-looking dark hair, rudraksha-like beads and gold necklaces, places his right hand on the devotee's head. The seated figure sits on a leopard-print cushioned throne-like seat with silver railings. Behind them hang garlands of marigolds and roses in yellow, red, white and green, and a silver bowl stands on a small table. A younger attendant in saffron-orange cloth with rudraksha malas stands at the left edge, watching. The scene resembles a shakti initiation blessing.2018-04-19November 19 20172017-11-19A photograph on a stage showing a seated man in a leopard-print throne with ornate silver lion armrests and a silver carved backdrop. He wears a rust-red cloth, a long rudraksha mala, and a forehead tilak, with long hair, and gestures with raised right hand. Two standing attendants in orange cloth with rudraksha malas and white body markings stand to his left; one holds a small white paper or card. A third figure kneels in front with palms joined, bare-chested with white markings, and a small offering plate sits near him. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure matches the presentation cues of long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and a ceremonial throne, so he is described as the seated teacher receiving devotion.2018-04-01April 03 20182018-04-03April 03 20182018-04-03April 04 20182018-04-04September 26 20172017-09-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated man in a rust-red robe on an ornate silver throne with carved peacock-like motifs, wearing a black turban, a pink-and-white flower garland, heavy gold beaded necklaces and a red tilak on his forehead; his eyes are closed and he is smiling. A leopard-print cushion lies beside him. In front, a person with a shaved-looking head and bare back, wearing an orange wrap, holds his hands and performs a ritual gesture, with rudraksha beads on the wrist and neck. Colourful painted panels stand in the background. Possible initiation or blessing moment; the seated figure is an appearance-based a person, identified by the turban, garlands and throne cues.2018-04-20 +1 copiesNovember 12 20172017-11-12
