Several men in ceremonial Hindu temple attire walk in procession through a courtyard lined with terracotta-tiled roofs. The central figure wears a rust-brown dhoti and wrap, a heavy red and white flower garland, layered gold ornaments and a large gold pendant, with a pink lotus-flower crown on a black turban. Around him, men with long swept-up dark hair and turbans wear rudraksha malas, gold chains and saffron or orange cloth. A man at left wears white with gold-bordered dhoti and a red shawl. Behind them, a few onlookers in white and colourful saris stand by a gate, and a figure in white stands at right. This appears to be a temple visit to a Devi shrine, shown only through the visible procession.

A procession of men in ascetic dress walks through a temple courtyard in Kerala with tiled roofs behind them. The central figure wears a dark red-brown robe, a large red and white flower garland with a dense red bead cluster hanging at the chest, a gold pendant, gold bangles, and a turban topped with pink flowers. Flanking men wear rudraksha and gold necklaces, bare chests or orange and white cloth, and some have long matted hair under turbans. A man in white dhoti with gold border stands at left, and a person in a pink top is visible at the right edge. Devotees and a figure in white stand in the background.

A procession at an outdoor temple-style event, with a bearded man in the centre wearing a long white and purple flower garland, red flower garlands, a gold chain with a large gold pendant, and a rust-brown sleeveless garment. He smiles and holds a tall gold-tipped staff upward with one hand, with red and orange threads on his wrist. Around him walk young men in orange-saffron dhotis and wraps, bare-chested, with rudraksha malas, white silver-toned necklaces and white forehead markings. Behind them, a gold-decorated deity shrine glows with string lights and flower decorations. Strong resemblance to a person candidate is noted by appearance only: the central man has a beard and a gold pendant with garland, but his appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity.

He holds the canopy pole with one raised hand. Beside him a younger man in an orange turban and orange dhoti carries a decorated orange pot with a garland of yellow flowers and a leaf. Around them devotees in orange cloths, bare-chested, with sacred ash on their foreheads, press palms together in greeting. Lush green trees and a small temple structure appear in the background. Several more people are visible in the crowd behind.
