A large crowd of seated devotees fills a red-and-white tented hall, facing a distant stage at the far end. Rows of beige plastic chairs stretch across the floor, with men in white shirts, blue checked shirts and other casual clothes. Ceiling fans, stage lights and red draped valances line the tent, and a painted backdrop with a deity murti sits on the stage. Individual people in the crowd are too small to pick out clearly, and no one can be identified on the stage.2015-07-26July 26 20152015-07-26A large crowd of seated men fills a white tented hall with red-and-white draped edges and hanging stage lights.
