Night temple ritual before a decorated deity murti of Ganesha, its face and chest adorned with garlands of yellow and red flowers and a silver-gilt backdrop. A woman in a white sari with gold border and a red headscarf raises a lit oil lamp toward the deity, while a second deity shrine to the right is also draped in marigold garlands. In the foreground, a bare-headed man in an orange-saffron cloth and a man in maroon with gold border sit with hands folded near brass pots, bowls and ritual vessels on a low table, with small flames burning. Lamps and incense haze fill the dark background.2014-10-11November `4 2015 +1 copiesNovember `4 2015 +2 copiesNight-time puja at an outdoor shrine lit by electric lights. Left, a gilded arch frames deity murtis draped in garlands of marigolds and purple flowers on a red cloth. Centre, a smaller altar holds a decorated kalasha-style offering with flower garlands. Right, a large painted Ganesha figure with a golden crown and ornaments stands behind a red-and-white striped wall. Orange-robed sannyasis, some shaved-headed, sit in rows on a raised platform, with a standing orange-clad man near the Ganesha figure. Several people in white dhotis and shawls sit on the platform in front of the altar, while people in the foreground sit on the floor with their backs to the camera, one wearing a red mala. Kolam designs are on the ground.2014-09-06September 06 20142014-09-06November `4 2015 +1 copiesAugust 21 20142014-08-21October 11 20142014-10-11July 09 20132013-07-09 +1 copiesNight-time outdoor ritual on a raised stone platform: a sacred fire burns beside a golden ornate throne draped in red fabric, with a small decorated shrine with flower garlands at left. Several priests in white dhotis and orange shawls sit on the platform performing the rite, while standing attendants in orange and white are at the edges. Seated in front of the platform on striped mats, a large audience of devotees in white, orange and maroon clothing watches, some with hands folded. A golden throne with a red and gold canopy umbrella stands to the right, with a seated figure in orange robes; the figure's appearance is too uncertain to attribute to anyone.
