A man at centre-left wears a long chain of large gold beads over an orange-red wrap and a rudraksha bracelet on his upper arm; he walks with hands loosely held forward. Beside him an older bare-chested man in a saffron wrap wears a dark rudraksha mala, gold pendant and a rudraksha headband with a sandalwood-marked forehead, with hands joined at chest level. Other attendants stand behind in white dhotis and orange cloth, and pink flower petals lie on the shoulder of the central figure.2012-05-16May 18 20122012-05-18May 18 20122012-05-18May 21 20122012-05-21A photograph taken in a dim stone chamber with a bright light source at upper right. In the foreground, a woman with hair in a bun and rudraksha beads on her head and arms wears a rust-orange cloth and holds her hands together near her chest. Beside her, a bald man in an orange-gold wrap and bead necklace bows his head. On the right, an older white-haired, white-bearded man in an orange shawl and a bead necklace leans toward a stone wall, his hands extended near a small green leaf or offering, with a lit lamp and smoke rising nearby. A partially visible figure stands behind him, and a partial figure appears at the far left edge. The scene suggests a ritual offering in a temple-like setting.2012-05-18A close-up photograph of several shaved-headed monastic men in saffron-orange and red robes seated in a row during a devotional gathering. They wear orange-red rudraksha and beaded necklaces, white sandalwood or ash markings on their foreheads and arms, and some wear glasses. Their eyes are closed or lowered, and the man on the right has his palms joined in anjali. Behind them hang a deep red curtain and an orange flag. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person, so the a person field is none.2013-03-16July 11 20132013-07-11Three shaved-headed male sannyasis in orange and saffron robes stand in a smoky, dimly lit space, apparently during a ritual. The man on the left wears clear-framed glasses, a red bindi, and a saffron wrap with a gold edge over his shoulder. The middle figure is bare-chested under an orange cloth, with a red bindi and a long rudraksha mala, holding a small brass vessel. The man on the right wears a red bindi and white vertical tilak marks, a rudraksha mala and a gold bangle, and raises his hand toward his chin. Haze and incense smoke fill the background.2013-04-29Photograph of several saffron-robed sannyasis seated closely together on a floor during a satsang or meditation. The foreground man wears a red-orange shawl with rudraksha malas, a red bindi and a white horizontal vibhuti band on his forehead, and has white ash marks on his arms. Beside him a man in a red-orange robe with a long rudraksha mala and white forehead and arm markings sits with eyes lowered, and to the right a man with hands folded in namaste sits in a saffron shawl with rudraksha beads. Other seated devotees in orange and red robes with forehead ash fill the background, with red curtains and a white wall behind them.2013-05-02September 09 20152015-09-09
