A photograph of a procession walking along a dirt path between white walls, with a temple tower visible at upper left. In the centre, a man with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, a long garland of yellow flowers, and walks barefoot; the appearance is consistent with a person candidate, with his long hair, saffron clothing and garland as the qualifying cues. Around him, saffron-clad men and white-clad men in kurtas follow, and a few boys in checked shirts watch. At left, a drummer in a white dhoti with a leopard-print shawl holds a drum, and at right, a man in white plays a long wind instrument. Overhead, strung wires and a lantern on a post are visible.
