Women in sarees in white, orange, purple, pink and green walk in the foreground, while men in white dhotis and shirts, and in checked and red shirts, follow behind. A man in a red shirt on the right holds a blue pamphlet. No single person is identifiable as a person; the crowd appears to be devotees moving in a line.2006-12-15December 14 20162016-12-14December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04Photograph of a temple procession walking along a paved stone courtyard in front of a pink and yellow temple gopuram and palm trees. At centre, a man with long dark hair, a vertical tilak on his forehead, saffron-orange cloth and a large yellow-orange marigold garland walks barefoot with his hands folded, with a sannyasi-style figure in orange beside him. Around them are devotees: women in orange and red saris, men in white shirts and white dhotis, and a bare-chested man in white dhoti with an orange shawl on the right. Some carry orange bags and a white cloth bundle. Count of visible physical people is roughly two dozen, with more partially visible behind.2012-10-12December 15 20062006-12-15
