Behind it stands a large printed cutout photograph of a smiling man in a red-orange turban, rudraksha malas, layered gold necklaces and bangles, hands in a blessing gesture, seated on a tiger-skin cushion. A yellow silk pillow embroidered with elephants and a small brass figure sit before the cutout. A beaded glass lamp glows at the table's right edge, and potted plants frame the scene. A small figure on a red-cloth tray appears at the left. No people are physically present.2021-01-23Photo 99234362022-03-21 +1 copiesKAILASA KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA on 6/9/20212021-06-09Mahashivaratri 2021KAILASA MACAPA- AMAPA, BRAZIL on 7/23/20212021-07-23KAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/5/20222022-04-05 +1 copiesA home shrine table set with brass plates of fruit (bananas, mangoes, lemons), sweets, rice dishes, corn and small steel bowls, with brass oil lamps lit on either side. Smaller framed photographs of a robed figure in orange with a mala stand at right, and a glass case holds a small deity murti decorated with flowers. No physical people are visible; the figures shown are printed depictions.2021-01-23A small room set up as an altar. A large framed portrait on a gold background shows a smiling man with a bright orange turban, a red tilak on his forehead, orange robes and a leopard-print shawl draped over his shoulders, with a red and white flower garland and a beaded necklace. He is seated cross-legged, and the portrait is labelled as Swamiji (probable) by appearance cues: orange turban, orange robes and ornate garlands. Pink and red velvet cushions and a pink draped cloth sit below it, with a flower-decorated tray in front. Tulips and yellow roses stand in vases, and smaller framed images flank the altar. In front, trays hold rows of paper cups of rice and sweets, plus fruit including apples, oranges, pears and bananas, as an annadan offering. No physical people are visible.2021-01-23KAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 11/27/20212021-11-27 +1 copiesA festive Diwali altar with a red cloth-draped table.
