Sacred white markings are painted on his shoulders and arm. He holds a brass lamp in his other hand, with a second brass pot visible at left. Blurred crowd and white railings fill the background, and warm lamplight glows in the evening scene. This appears to be abhishekam, a ritual bathing of the murti. The priest has short dark hair and no visible saffron, long hair or rudraksha cues, so no a person candidate is present.2016-12-12December 12 20162016-12-12July 31 20172017-07-31A photograph of an abhishekam ritual at a temple shrine. Behind them, a deity murti is adorned with yellow and orange garlands, and a small seated figure sits on a red pedestal to the right.
