A photograph of two men walking across a sandy ground in front of a large maroon and white temple-style backdrop with a tiered tower shape. The man on the right wears a long saffron-orange shawl wrapped over the shoulders and body, with a matching orange dhoti, and walks barefoot-style in sandals with a slight smile. The man on the left wears an orange kurta and orange-and-maroon dhoti with a matching orange shawl draped over one arm, hands held together at his chest. Behind them a white banner with Tamil text is mounted on wooden stakes, and potted green plants in red pots line the ground.2009-08-08A photograph of a stage function under a pink tarpaulin canopy with a red stage floor. A standing figure in an orange turban with a red tilak, orange drape and dark rudraksha mala appears to be a candidate for a person based on the turban, long hair and rudraksha mala cues, though the appearance is not conclusive. Beside him, a younger man in an orange robe with maroon borders smiles and touches the figure's drape. To the left, a man in white dhoti and kurta wears a yellow shawl and a rudraksha mala. Behind them is a red banner with partly legible Tamil text and a white table with a printed caption.2010-02-18Outdoor photo on a dusty open ground in front of a large painted temple-tower signboard in maroon and cream with stepped tiers. Two men in saffron-orange robes walk side by side: the left one wears an orange shirt and dhoti and holds his hands together at his chest, the right one wears a long draped orange wrap over bare shoulders and sandals. Behind them a white banner with Tamil lettering, a row of potted plants in red pots, a bamboo fence, thatched huts and wooded hills. A silver Ford SUV with a Karnataka registration plate is parked at the right edge. Neither walking figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the scene is described by roles only.2009-08-08Two men in saffron-orange robes stand on a red-carpeted stage under a pink-lilac tent canopy. The taller man in the foreground wears an orange turban, a sleeveless orange robe and a long dark bead necklace, with his hands folded at his waist. Behind him, a second man in orange robes with maroon borders stands with hands clasped. Behind them a red banner carries Tamil lettering and a mountain backdrop, and a white-draped chair sits on the stage beside a small air cooler. A black signboard with white Tamil text is visible at the right edge.2010-02-18Outdoor ceremonial scene under a tent canopy with red, white and blue banners on poles behind. A young man with long wavy black hair wears an orange cloth wrapped over his shoulders and body and a small red forehead mark. Beside him stands a bespectacled man in a white dhoti and white kurta with an orange shawl across one shoulder and a rudraksha mala around his neck, holding a silver-coloured vessel with both hands. Seated devotees and lamps are visible in the background.2006-12-31Two men in saffron-orange robes walk together on bare, dusty ground at dusk. The man on the left has long, loose black hair, a small red bindi, and an orange wrap draped over his bare shoulder, gesturing with his hands as he speaks. The man on the right has a shaved head with white tilak markings, an orange cloth wrapped over his head and body, and a wristwatch, holding a dark bag. Behind them, several people in white clothes sit on the ground near a white-walled shed, with palm trees and a grey sky in the background.2007-02-02January 21 20102010-01-21Outdoor photo at a temple-like compound with a thatched-roof pavilion and red-and-white striped pillars. Two men in saffron-orange robes stand side by side in the foreground; the taller one on the left has long dark hair and a bare shoulder, the other on the right holds an orange cloth. Behind them a teal screen, a maroon draped cloth on a wooden post, a small table with brass vessels, and a board with printed Tamil text. A third man in white clothes stands in the background. Several people are visible, but the saffron-clad pair is the main subject.2008-10-19A photograph of an outdoor courtyard with sandy ground, coconut palms and a string of triangular red and orange pennant flags overhead. In the foreground, a bald older man in orange robes carries a black shoulder bag with printed Tamil text and gestures with folded hands. Beside him, a long-haired figure in an orange robe and a long rudraksha mala stands with palms pressed together. To the left, a man in orange cloth stands facing them, and several men in white dhotis and white shirts stand barefoot nearby, with another man in white further right. Potted plants and a small vehicle appear in the background.2007-08-09September 28 20122012-09-28A procession on an open street lined with palm trees and colourful bunting. In the centre, a smiling man wears an orange turban, orange robe, a long rudraksha mala and a red bindi, and raises one hand in greeting. He has long swept-back hair and a distinctive saffron ensemble, a person by appearance. Beside him a younger man in orange with long hair holds a brass plate of flower petals and rice. Around them devotees in white dhotis and shirts press forward with folded hands, and an officer in a khaki uniform stands behind. Behind the crowd are a golden palanquin and a decorated ratha with red-and-gold canopies and flags. A small poster with a saffron-robed portrait hangs on a pole at left. Multiple people are visible, roughly 20 or more.2010-02-18October 16 20112011-10-16
