Night photograph of an outdoor ashram courtyard lit by a string of small orange lights strung through trees and a few green-tinted spotlights. Several people stand on dark ground: white-clad devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, and two saffron-robed sannyasis in orange garments, one at the centre-left and one at the right edge. Structures and scaffolding appear at the far left, with a yellow cloth on the ground at right. The scene reads as an evening gathering at an ashram event.2009-08-03August 03 20092009-08-03Night photograph of a group walking across a dirt ground lit by strings of small festoon lights and tall white light tubes on poles, with a woven bamboo fence on the left. Seven people walk in a loose line: several in plain white dhotis and shirts, and two in saffron/orange robes, one carrying a yellow shawl. Some figures hold their hands raised. The scene appears to be a nighttime procession or walk at a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam centre. No individual can be confidently identified from appearance, so no a person candidate is asserted.2009-08-03December 21 20072007-12-21Night photograph of a group walking across a sandy open ground toward a wooden frame structure with lights. Nine people in white dhotis and shirts, several with yellow or orange shawls and rudraksha-style necklaces, walk in a loose line. Two figures in saffron/orange robes lead the group, one on the left with a shaved head and one on the right with a long orange garment. Strings of lights and a lit white building are visible in the background. Nearby is a wooden pole frame.2009-08-03Night photograph on a dirt path beneath dark trees, with leafy branches framing the left and right edges. In the foreground a bare-chested man in an orange cloth wrap walks toward the camera, with dark swept-back hair and a ceremonial marking on his forehead; the page notes a person at this event, but his appearance alone is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm, so he is described by role as a devotee in orange. Behind him several people in white clothes and orange shawls walk in procession, one woman in white carrying a small lit oil lamp, and another person carries a red cloth bag. A red-painted mound or offering area with stones is visible in the background near a dim lamp glow.2006-12-10December 09 20062006-12-09A dimly lit night photograph of a group walking across a dark open ground toward the left. In the foreground on the right, a man in an orange saffron robe, orange head wrap and a long beaded rudraksha mala walks alone with his head lowered. Behind him, a group of about eight people in white dhotis and white shirts or kurtas, several with orange shawls draped over their shoulders, walk in a loose line. A tall illuminated lamp post stands at the left edge. The scene is mostly dark with faint lights in the background.2008-11-11Night photo outdoors at a bare dirt ground beneath large dark trees. A figure in saffron-orange robes with an orange turban and bare chest walks forward with arm extended, flanked by a line of men in white dhotis and orange shawls. In front, a bare-chested man in a red dhoti and beaded necklace, and an older man in white dhoti and shirt, stand near a tall white pole. Several onlookers in dark shirts stand to the right. A black bag rests on the ground at left. The scene suggests the flag-raising preparations for the Brahmotsav festival at AadiKailaasa, though the flag itself is not clearly visible.2006-12-20Night photo of a procession walking along an unpaved dirt road toward strings of lights and a banner. In front, a man in saffron robes wears a long marigold garland over his shoulders and bare feet; a rudraksha mala hangs around his neck. Beside and behind him, several men in saffron and orange robes carry a tray or offering, and a group of people in white dhotis and shirts walk behind them, with a figure in a yellow shirt at the left edge. Prayer flags are strung along a fence at the right. The scene shows a garlanded procession, but the figure's identity cannot be established from appearance alone.2012-01-08A night photograph of a group walking along a dirt path in an open, unlit area. Several men in saffron-orange robes lead the group, with some wearing white or light-coloured clothing behind them; a few carry small lights and torches that cast bright spots on the ground. Some people in the background wear white with yellow shoulder cloths. The surrounding landscape is dark with scattered debris at left. No individual can be clearly identified as a person from appearance; the figures appear to be devotees or sannyasis in procession.2009-11-16August 05 20092009-08-05
